OPK stress

I have been testing since day 9 and today is day 14 and have yet to get a positive, but the tests has been very close to postive the last 3 days. Not a faint line but not dark enough to be a positive. I haven't used these tests in awhile since we were doing IVF and IUI and now back to the natural approach. Has anyone else had this problem and should I continue to test and wait it out. My cycle is always very normal between 26-28 days and I'm just a little worried that I missed my Big O.

Maybe you didn't miss it but you are ovulating a little later this month? I never got a full dark positive, it wasalways close but never as dark/darker than the test line. I switched from OPKs to a fertility monitor and fortwo months did both, those days that I had an almost positive on the OPK's I was getting high fertility and peak fertility from the monitor so those were my positive results. thanks, we have been doing the BD since saturday every other day just to make sure.....tired of all this and ready to move on. I'm glad someone else had crazy results from OPK's too

I O'd a day later this month. It ended up being ond day 16. The tests kept getting darker everyday so maybe for you it will be the same way. Good luck and lots of baby dust!

I'm going to try another test when I get home tonight, if I would just get a positive I would feel better. This is just so strange for me, I'm usually so regular and ovulate so early. Last month I ovulated on Day 12, who knows....you can make yourself crazy if you read too much into it.

Are you taken them at the same time of the day? Also are you testing more than once? Sometimes you can get a early afternoon surge and by the pm you won't see that you had a +.

Yes I have been testing every morning and then starting yesterday I started testing 2 times a day just to make sure I don't miss it. I switched to the digital test yesterday as I like them better, no pressure of is that line darker than the other. aaaahhhh, why is this so hard for some of us   sorry just been going through a lot lately.

You shouldn't test in the morning, because there is a normal surge of the LH in the AM. I also love the digital ones, the little smily face, I had to use the cheap internet ones because I have a issue with tests. I use to many of them, I also start testing at cd 10, and sometimes don't get that surge till the 17th. I wish you luck and hope things get better!

I had no idea that you get a normal surge in the morning, that could explain alot. I will test again after work today and see if there is a difference.

I had no idea either! The directions on the OPK I got said to test with FMU or after not going to the bathroom for 2 hours. Darnit! I tested every 12 hours though, but still! I wish I would have known that. Thanks Mandie
