Quoting Tyler's Momma:“ Do you have a fake tooth now? If so, how long did it take for you to get the fake one put in?”

nope. just an empty spot because the way my teeth lined up the bottom teeth would not migrate up and the top had the need for a little more room anyway. im looking into getting dental implant put in though just because i get self couscious of the gap even though its closer to the back than the front

Honestly, I'm not worried about the comfort. I'm sure the dentist will give me whatevers safter for me since I am pregnant. I just want me and my son to both me safe and to get this taken care of.

The tooth that is causing me problems is my 2nd to last molar. I only have two molars on each side because I had teeth removed for braces when I was younger. So I would be left with only 1 molar on my bottom left side, so I would need a fake tooth put in. I just hope this doesn't cost much because with my last appt I had a root canal and crown done and it ate up all my insurance plus I had to pay a little over $500.

I'm 6 1/2 months and I just went to the dentist this morning (not my regular dentist)
And he said that my other dentist should have pulled out my tooth a long time ago instead of just putting a filling in because it was badly decayed.. He gave me some antibiotics (pregnancy safe) for the infection and in 10 days he's going to pull out my tooth. He said that he couldn't pull it out right then because it had an abscess and it wouldn't freeze with an abscess! I think the best thing to do for a tooh abscess is to just pull the tooth out(depending how bad it is) and if its not real bad just do a root canal.
