Obviously whatever you're smoking has effected you beacuse you can't spell for crap andyou don't know what the hell you're talking about. In regards to your comment about there being no proof that smoking weed does anything to your baby, of course they're not going to have solid evidence. There are people that don't drink or smoke andexercise daily while they're pregnant and their babies are still born retarded or physically deformed. When there's a problem with someones baby they can't exactly sit there andblame that problem on ONE thing the mother did while pregnant...unless of course they plan on leaving their baby in the science labs for the rest of its life. Either way, drinkingand/or smoking weed kills brain cells. Your child may not have any problems now, butwhat about when they're older?

My friends mom smoked 3, 4 joints a day when she was pregnant for her and there's nothing at all wrong with her. Her doctor even said that it was okay, just to cut back.

Personally, I think anyone who smokes anything while they're pregnant is a selfish person who should have their ass kicked. Why would it be okay to smoke weed if it's not okay to smoke cigarettes while you're pregnant? And to the person who said they're friend's doctor told them it was okay, they're a damn liar! Everyone knows the side affects that smoking of any kind can have on a person, such as cancer. How dumb and self-centered can you possibly be to smoke while you are pregnant? My friend from back home was jsut 2.5 pounds when she was born because her mother smoked all through her pregnancy, and she has also had health issues all throughout her life. This could have been avoided if her mother didn't smoke. So to all those who think about smoking while pregnant, whether it be weed or cigarettes, do yourself and your baby a favor and put down the damn cancer stick! It's only for nine months.......after that you can smoke when you're not around your baby. After all, how would you feel if your baby was born barely hanging on to his/her life because of YOUR selfish act? Think about it!

One of my good friends smoked pot her whole pregnancy, and she smoked very heavily at that.. My godson was born at a normal birth weight and stuff. BUT NOW.. he has asthma(sp).. and I think it was due to her smoking pot the whole pregnancy.. Because her two older kids she didnt smoke with and they dont have that problem.. It is just my opinion that is the reason he has asthma, but I think if he was always in the smoke in the womb it probably did something to his lungs... He now does those breathing treatments =( poor lil guy...

I know I'm kinda late joining this topic, but I found it pretty interesting. I have smoked weed before but quit long before I ever got pregnant. Now I didn't really read to many of the posts on this topic so I don't know if it's been brought up or not but my Ob/Gyn makes all pregnant women sign a paper that says if any illegal substance is found in your urine or blood they turn you in to CPS. It's called child endangerment. I don't even understand why the thought to drink/smoke/or whatever would cross anyone's mind while pregnant.

im a weed baby. my mom told me when her water broke she started hittin the bong to relieve her cramps. since ive been pregnant shes kind of hinted she smoked a little bit here and there. i know my mom, i know she did.
and i can honestly say i know how it's affected me. my memory is HORRIBLE! ever since i was little. all the memorys you hear people talking about they had from when they were little, nope not me. i have a few. if some one tells me something there's a 40% chance i'll remember what they are talking about. but not completely.
i cant even remember conversations i hold with people.

i did very well in school. but when it comes to losing things and remembering things im horrible. its sad.

i love when ppl say smoking weed during pregnancy is ok cause its a plant.... so is cocaine and parts of beer and even tea and coffee (which you also sould avoid) and tabacoo and wine (grape juice does the same things for your heart) god ppl stop putting your child at risk just because you hear different things listen to your doctor if he says NO then stop gawd
