Black outs

i just want to know if anyone else has had a there eyes blackout where you could see nothing and then all the sudden it go back top normal but you feel like you are going to throw up whenevery thing goesblack. Please help me i am asking my doctor but he says he dont know what i mean.

I actually have ; i was having sex and i seriously thought i was going BLIND thats the only time it happend though

I had that when i was preg. with my son , its sobad ....i dont have it this time thank god ....... I hope that you get better

When does it happen? Like when you stand up? Or does it happen just any ole time?

I actually had this exactly problem in my first trimester.. i didn't just have morning sickness i had ALLL day sickness... and sometimes i would get really hot and sweaty and then i would start to feel sick and then everything would just black out! i completely passed out one time... my doc said it was totally normal for pregnancy and that if i started feeling this way i should EAT and drink a glass of water... i also started taking my prenatal vitamins at night instead of with breakfast.. i think the rush of vitamins first thing was overwhelming for my body...

it happened to me the other day at the docs office.. i got suuuper hot and started to black out. it's the baby cuttin' off blood flow. lay on your left side and put a cold wash cloth on your head.. it's scary huh?

also, it has a lot to do with layin' on your back. so try and stay away from that if you do..

I dont think that was the problem with me.. actually my doc didn't even mention anything about how i should lay because i was still so early in my pregnancy and it didn't matter yet... I haven't had any of these symptoms since i started my 2nd trimester.. i think it probably had alot to do with my body adjusting to my pregnancy...

it is actually caused by the extra amount of blood flowing through your body and because of that your heart has to work alot harder to pump the blood through your veins and sometimes your body has to find a way to protect itself and the best way is to make you have the need to sit or ly down so your body can rest! that is basically word for word what my ob told me because I also have this problem

Make sure you don't stand with your knees locked. Keep them bent a little bit. I don't know the official term, but the arteries that go up your legs get cut off and restrict the blood flow if you lock them for to long.

To me it sounds like a problem I had. It had to do with my blood sugar. It would dip so low at times and I would just start seeing black spots until the point that i would black out. Even after I ate something it would still be too low. The way I found out was that I actually had to measure it with the glucose meter. Ask your doctor about it. Do you feel really weak, sweaty...etc. also?
