Twins

Yesterday jacob (bf) and I found out we were having identical twins, I was just wondering if anyone had any advice or stories. Its so odd cause no one in my family or his has twins.

congrats!! supposedly its supposed to skip a generation, but i had twins and my cousins are twins and my husband has cousins that are twins so no generation skipped there! i really dont know somewhere along the line in your family someone may of had twins.

congratulations! that is awesome. I don't have twins but I have always wanted them. I am a nurse and I would advise you to definatley take prenatal vitamins and keep taking them. Get as much rest as you can when you get the opportunity because a multiple pregnancy is harder on your body. Try and stick to a healthy balanced diet with lots of greens ( high in Iron) If you have or do suffer from morning sickness in the future just eat small portions thoughout the day. The extra iron is very good, you will need it lol. That's a good question about the cribs, some put twins in the same crib as it is comforting to them bc they are used to being close, and some don't. I don't see a problem when they are small enough but as they get bigger they will each need thier own space

Well i dont have twins but my sister just did and i help her all the time. Anyways she started out putting the twins in the same crib but now that they are 8 months they need seperate ones. Congrats by the way!! What else were you wanting to know?

at first its a comfort for the twins to be next to eachother, they were together for 9 months so why not. anyways i kept them together in the bassinet part of my pack and play. once they were moving more i put them in their own cribs.

I found out about 2wks ago that i was having twins. My little 1s are fraternal though...no 1 in my family or my bf family has twins either...so guess its just a big mystety

dont type like that its harder to read. first of all your 13, you should really think about what your options are (adoptin NOT abortion) you are VERY young and raising two babies at the age you are is going to be very tough
