SCARED TO DEATH

I am due March 26, 2008 and I am such a worry wort! I had some spotting at 13 weeks but other than that I have had a great pregnancy. Every day all I can think about is what if I go into labor early or what if I have a still born there would be know way I could live any more. I don't know why I am like this but all I want is a healthy baby I am so scared something is going to happen to my little girl and I don't have any reason to be. So please tell me what has been going on with other moms is the normal?

Oh its ok, my son is almost 8 weeks and I was sooooo scared too, it jus comes with the territory  I thought about it all the time , I would have dreams about it...lol But everything turned out great and I'm sure it will for you as well 

all new moms freak. i am pretty freaked about alot of stuff but i listen to my body and it seems to work for me. so just relax your babe will be fine

It's ok hun. We all worry, that's our job. What you need to do is look on the brighter side of things. Think positively. People with pessimistic attitudes generally have more problems than those with optimistic attitudes. I've been worried too, I'm not trying to say that I haven't. But I just put my hands on her and tell her that she needs to stay with me. And generally, she kicks me, and I feel lots better! Try to picture yourself holding her in your arms, and make that a goal. Talk to your baby. Sing to her, or even let daddy talk to her. Usually when daddy talks to my little girl she kicks him. He has to put his head on my tummy to feel her, because his hands shake far too much. But cheer up momma. Believe that everything will be ok, and it will be.

Its normal to worry. But you can do things to make sure everything is fine. Like unless your Dr. tells you somthing is wrong don't worry. When you feel baby move, know everythinh is fine. Do you have contractions or just Braxton Kicks? Its normal to worry but don't over do it. That stress and worry isn't helping you any.

I'm due March 24th. I know how you feel (not with the spotting) but I worry all the time. Even the oddest things. Even my dreams are filled with worries. I can't sleep some nights.

I'm terrified of going into labor early, having a preemie, anything at all being wrong with the baby. I stress over EVERYTHING possible from not being ready to it turning out to be a boy not a girl. Sometimes I have to just sit down and focus on breathing to keep from going into all out panic mode. I think it's normal.

yeah i have had crazy dreams about my daughter being born and when she comes out shes already 5 years old, or i have to get a c section because she has 2 heads..i dunno its weird.. lol anyways normally i just have daddy talk to her or i call someone and just kinda vent and try to see how they felt..and if you dont know anyone else who's been preggo [besides mom and stuff] talk to your friends and let them know what being pregnants all about haha sometimes you get the weirdest convos =]
