Sweetie, you gotta do what is best for you and your daughter, and if leaving for the night is an option and you feel it's right maybe that's just what you need to do. You can threaten a guy all you want with the "I'm leaving" thing, but they will ALWAYS act as if they don't care because 99% of the time we don't follow through with it. If you prove to him you will not put up with the crap, then maybe he will realize what kind of a jerk he is being. And guys will always always always say they wouldn't care if things were the other way around, because again...they know darned well situations like that would NEVER occur. It's hard for them to understand how it feels when they have never been put through it themselves.
