Missed period on birth control? HELP!

I've been on the pill since Aug and I was supposed to have AF last Tuesday the 23rd. I missed my period entirely. We had sex on Nov 11th and 17th (yes only twice. We have three little ones LOL). Anyway, I've taken a smurf ton of pregnancy tests, ALL negative. Now if I got knocked up on the 11th I KNOW that would show by now, but the 17th was only 11 days ago, so I don't know about that. I used FMU with FRER this morning so I would think I could at least get a faint, but nothing.

Now I'm really confused and going to call the doc tomorrow.

Did anyone else have this happen on the pill? Where you pregnant or not? Is there any other reason I couldn've missed my period? Am I going crazy? (Don't answer that last one...)

The pill always messed up my cycles... I never had a normal cycle.. I missed my period for 3 months while on yaz.. And finally my doctor had to perscribe me some medicine to make my period come.. I dont remember what it was.

There are several reasons that you can miss a period...
If there are changes in diet or exercise, you can miss one... Stress can be another reason (I mean, you have three kids...) I was on a minipill and wasnt supposed to have periods so I didnt have them. My periods have been jacked since I had my second baby. I wouldnt be that worried now. Maybe if you miss another, I would go to a doc.

Did you end up going to the doc to figure things out or you didn't even find out til 8 weeks? You missed your period too then I take it? LOL

I took the pill for 10 years and never missed a period. Towards the end they were starting to get off though and then I found out I was pregnant. I was still on the pill at about 5 or 6 weeks pregnant and everything was just fine.

See I've used this same pill all throughout high school and college and NEVER missed a period with it. I could understand if it was a different RX, but it's the same thing I've been on.

It's Zovia. I think it's similar to Orthocycln (sp).

Yep, missed 2 of them, took a TON of pregnancy tests & one at the health department [didn't have insurence for a blood test] Then finally one came up positive lol.

i got prego on pill.. LO is now 7wks old

I totally believe that except when someone is on the pill. It's hormones so when you start or don't take the placebo pills, the let down of hormone HAS to cause some kind of "period". I don't think your body or mind can over power that medically, but I don't really know I guess. My mom's been a nurse for 20+ years so I'm thinking of asking her why else I would miss my period.

Oh beautiful... Thats the pill I just got put on.

So pretty much everyone that said that got pregnant on the pill was well past their period before getting BFPs?? Ok then. LOL
