Hey! Dunno if this helps but my daughter who has ADHD has a problem with wetting herself and wiping, she's 6 nearly seven.

The wetting thing I've work out from an early age, it's just sometimes when she's at her worst can be needing and know it but something else like an ad on the tv will over rule the thought that she needs the toliet and she will not realise again until she's almost peeing herself.

The wiping thing, easy a mirror in the bathroom takes her attention away of doing a good job. So I've made the bathroom a distraction free zone, and after using a sign to remind her and a few shouts up the stair to remind her we are back on track with the clean bottom! Hope this helps

Hi, I know this is an old post, however I am having the exact same problem with my 9 year old son at the moment. He has adhd too. He is so careless and then there is of course usually always mess. We have talking and explaining why he needs to take his time in the toilet, we have given him wipes, we have tried making him clean the toilet when he makes a mess. Nothing is working, any suggestions?
