So one cat would have had 28 (kitten legs) x 7 = 196 + 28 (cat legs) = 224  x 7 (backpacks) = 1568 x 7 girls = 10976 + 14 (legs of girls on bus) = 10, 990.

That's what I got too, is it right??
7 x 2 = 14 girl legs
(7 x 7) x 7 x 4 = 1372 big cat legs
343 (big cats) x 7 x 4 = 9604 little cat legs TOTAL = 10990
