We say pop. And I say it when I go to CA now and my fam makes fun of me. I think it's just a fun word.

I'm feeling much better today. My left arm is asleep and I can't get it to wake up. I just told Woody my brain must be sucking energy from my arm and that's why my head feels better. Beware, once you turn 30 your body falls apart! LOL. I think we are going to buy an exercise machine for home. I really need to get in shape and that should help with my issues. We always go with the school gym membership but it's a commute to get there. We never go. If I have a good machine here I have no excuse. I think we'll have to bite the bullet and spend some clams on a good one this time. I bought a cheap treadmill when I was prego with Sam but it was junk. I think it sold for $5 at our sale. Do any of you guys have home gyms? Woody wants an Elliptical. I want a Bowflex. My dad used a bowflex back in the day and he looked great.

Ha ha! No, it was my SIL's house. I actually hit my head hard enough that I didn't cuss! It's amazing. I hit it hard. I don't think I said anything but "that hurt!" I got really quiet. I've been that way all week. It kind of knocked me into submission. I've been really calm.

Im pretty sure its about 38 hours to drive. We'll have to move in with that distance ;)

she does sometimes, on the long days. we'll see how it is next week. i do everything possible to entertain him. i play with every toy, and go to the park, even if i have to carry them both there! he cries at the park unless he's swinging, and even then he doesn't crack a smile. Poor kid, he needs this to force him to be more outgoing i think, so im trying!

We looked at a bowflex a long time ago, tested one out and weren't too impressed. Look into it, what is the best machine to get at home? post it on here! I think anything cardio will bust your ass, tredmills are hard on your knees though...
I use Add as a workout partner as much as I can, carry him longer, park farther away at the grocery store, take the dogs on a fast run at night, anything to burn more calories than i intake. I've gained since we weaned, its harder to keep it off with just eating right. I hate excersize!

wow that sounds like therapy in a way. I hope you didn't knock anything important loose. It'll probably take a bit to get back to normal. Are you going to go back to the Dr?

That's awful! I really hope the headaches are gone, I'm sure not sleeping didn't help things either.

Yep, we say pop up north.
Do you say soda? or coke?
I lived in MO for a year and at restaurants they would ask if I wanted a "coke", I'd say, "No, I'll have a sprite thanks." Took me forever to realize that coke and pop were interchangable.

I bet if his mom stays after and plays for a while he'll warm up. And then you'll know exactly what kind of games and toys are his favourite for when you need to distract him.

The bowflex doesn't give you much cardio, does it?
My MIL has a treadmill, bike, and ellipitical and she loves the elliptical the best. I just do videos cause they're cheap.
Do you have a Costco near you? They have pretty good prices on exercise equipment and if something goes wrong they'll take it back, no matter how much time has passed. It's their store policy.
My MIL returned a 4 year old shed that got destroyed by the wind and they took it back no questions asked. She didn't even have a receipt!
