I hope they fine out you do if I'm fact you do have it (hope not though) because the further along you are the more risky it becomes to stitch you.

Because the baby its bigger and sac is bigger. Membrane rupture is more at risk. Emergency cerclage also have less of a success rate (usually result in preemie not death though) so the sooner the better. Tara (she coming in this thread) did get hers at 27 Weeks though.

I don't have IC but I have two cervix's, one is smaller than the other and more high up. I have two uterus's, two linings, and a septum running all the way through. The baby is in my right uterus.

If you look back on the pages Chrissy had the same issue. They aren't sure if she also has ic or not.

for those of you with A cerclage or who have had a cerclage before, at what week in pregnancy did you have your baby? If you still have a cerclage in, how far along are you so far?

On August 30 2011 I lost my son Reid due to an incompetent cervix. I am now pregnant again I'm about 10 weeks. I am getting on state insurance and have to wait for the to come in the mail before I go see my dr. Anyways, after I have sex with my other half I've had spotting. No cramping nothing like a period just very light spotting and it stopped a few hours later. I'm not to sure what's going on and I can't go see my dr yet. So we've decided to stop until we see a dr.

It can be normal but holding off for a bit is a good idea.

With my oldest, I had my cerclage removed in the hospital at 36 weeks 6days after my water broke. She was born at 37 weeks exactly.
With my youngest, my cerclage was removed at 36 weeks and 5 days due to mild contractions I was dilated to a 2 with the cerclage in, and a 2.5 after removal, she was born at 39 weeks 4 days almost 3 weeks after removal!

I have a three year old daughter who I had an emergency cerclage placed at 18 weeks. I had her at full term (38 weeks)

Currently im pregnant (14 wks) and waiting to see a specialist as to what i'm going to do with this pregnancy.

I was told i would need a cerclage again if i ever had another pregnancy, so im expecting i will be getting a second cerclage soon.
