I had that feeling and found out I was in early labor. I'd call dr.

that you!! thats what i was worried about. its seemed to have eased, but still have period like cramping in my back. waiting for the doctor to call me back.

Hope everything turns out well.

I had to have magnesium twice to stop labor but in the end, I had to have a csection at 35.5wks because of pre-e. We're good now.

Yes, I have been having these problems as well, had my monthly ob appt and it turns out that I am in preterm labor and have an US tomorrow morning to look at my cervix to see how long/short it is and if it is funneling. I am on my fourth as well and have had various procedures done with my cervix in the past so I'm sure that is all contributing to this now since I am only 20 weeks. Nurse and doc both said they are not normal braxton hicks if I am having pressure and cramping with them down low. So good luck and get checked.

Does anyone have any advice on what you can and shouldn't do with the stuture in place. I was found to have a shortening cervix at 19 weeks and got the stitch put in at 20 weeks. I'm now at 25 weeks and on progesterone and about to return to work on light duties to help out out finances. I keep seeing all of the warnings about having to do more excercise but I don't think i can at the moment as even walking or standing too long gives me discomfort. Is that normal? Or am I being paranoid and should be doing more?

I was told I cannot exercise at all. You want to do as little as possible to avoiding putting pressure on your cervix. Sitting or laying down is best.

This is what I was told too, I was on modified bed rest, I could shower, I could be up for a limited amount of time a day, with IC, gravity plays a huge part since the cervix is not strong.

So I just had my US to check cervical length and I am 20 weeks and it is a 3.1 I haven't heard from my doc yet, but was wondering if anyone knows how good/bad/normal this is???

depends on the reasons why your first 2 were premature.
