Quoting Turtle™:" CONGRATS MAMA!!! "
Quoting ♥ mama x2 ♥:" Congrats!!!! "
Quoting Tasha129:" figured i would look for advice here because you ladies know a lot about IC. since march 1st, my cervix ... [snip!] ... just 5 weeks. My cervix is damaged from a D&C. Should I be more concerned that the OB is? He said it's not a big deal......"it can go up and down. my doc only starts to worry when it gets to 2.5. are you on p17 shots?
Quoting Mirror Seeing:" it can go up and down. my doc only starts to worry when it gets to 2.5. are you on p17 shots?"
Quoting MamaShay:" I'm 21 weeks 3 days and I have had a cerclage since 14 weeks. I'm bleeding now for several days and the ... [snip!] ... it, that my cervix looks good and the stitch is good. Just wondering if anyone else had bleeding like this with a cerclage? "I apologize for not responding to this sooner, but I just now saw it. Have they done an ultrasound to make sure the bleeding is from nothing else? I had bleeding in my pregnancy with my oldest daughter, from placenta previa, but it fixed itself, and in my last one I had bleeding from a slight placental abruption, which fixed itself, but I gave birth 5 days later due to infection, that was at 27 weeks. If you have not had an ultrasound, demand one immediately.
Quoting Tasha129:" I'm not on anything. They said it's not a big deal. But I feel like it is...."I know. If mine goes down even a LITTLE I'm freaking out. Just try to limit time on your feet. My cervix was 2.5 or something like that when I got the cerclage and up until a few weeks ago, it was at a 6. I was also taking the progesterone shots and limited bed rest though. Maybe this could be an option for you?
Quoting MamaShay:" The last ultrasound was 9 days ago and that day I wasn't bleeding. I had been bleeding before that but ... [snip!] ... dr I would probably go in, but it's 2 hours away and I don't have a car and I'm broke because I can't work so I'm kinda stuck. "What kind of insurance do you have? If you have state medicaid, you can get a ride to your doctor.
Quoting Sky0428:" Hello! My name is Sarah and I just joined this support group. I just lost my baby Boy at 21 weeks just ... [snip!] ... NOT live in Japan. Though I can speak some Japanese and eat their food. I actually live in Virginia. I'll fix that eventually.)"Welcome moma! I'm so very sorry for your loss.
Quoting Tasha129:" So as I posted earlier my cervix shortened 1cm in 5 weeks. I do have risk factors for IC (a D&C that ... [snip!] ... long to wait. I feel that my concerns are completely legitimate. My question is, should I go elsewhere for a second opinion?"IMO, yes. If your doctor isn't taking your concerns seriously then you should find someone that will.!!!!
