Sorry Sue! We were running around all day yesterday...getting some stuff for school and stuff...and then Norman has had the computer ever since. My SIL let him borrow her ipod for when he jogs and he has spent forever loading songs!

What are you up to? Not much here just spending the day around the house. Getting ready to put the kids down for a nap...hopefully I can get some school work in after that.

Oh how I've missed you. LOL, I better get used to it though because you'll be gone a lot in the coming months. Boo.   j.k. I'm glad you had a good filled day yesterday though. Sounds like school is already taking over.
That's nice that your SIL is letting Norman borrow his ipod. I always wondered if those were worth getting. We don't have one but it seems like everyone else does. Does he have to pay for the song he downloads on it? Oh wait, he can download from his CDs right?
Everything here is about the same. I'm so glad it's Friday. We have a busy weekend ahead of us. We're barbecuing with the neighbors tomorrow and on Sunday we have a birthday swim party to go to. It's funny how after you have kids 90% of your activities revolve around them. I guess that's how it should be though.
Well I'm off to lunch. Hopefully you'll have a little time to chat this afternoon.

Lol...I know...school has got me busy already. Monday I am going to the lab, so I am going to try to get a lot of studying in now, so I know what I am doing.

We are attempting to put the kids down for a nap in their room...not going so well...lol. The think its more playtime than anything.

There is a drive in theater in Tyler that I am dying to go to...maybe next week...I just cant do it with the kids!
Sunday we are going to my Aunts to take pics of her crew. Should be interesting. My little cousin came in last nigth with his gf so we visited with them for a while.

Hey there. Lunch was okay. I bet the boys at the park. It is a nice day out. It's sunny but there is a breeze so it's not super hot. Izzy is walking all over the place. Even from that video 2 days ago he's gotten a lot better. I guess since I didn't talk to you yesterday I didn't get a chance to tell you that Izzy had a night terror 2 nights ago. I never ever heard of them before but yesterday I looked it up and I guess that's what happened anyhow, he woke up around 11:30 and cried for close to 2 hours. It was so weird because he although it seemed liek he was awake he really wasn't. IT was almost like sleep walking minus the walking. It freaked me out though! Luckily last night he slept a lot better.
I think an iPod would make a great birthday present for Norman. Does he job everyday? When is his birthday anyway? Pretty soon right, he's a virgo and all.
You should definitely make arrangements to go and check out that drive in theater sans kiddos. You deserve it. Are current movies playing at it? Sounds all cute and romantic. While we were in Nashville we went to the movies. We watched that Will Smith movie Hancock. It was kinda weird and typically i don't like super hero type of movies but it actually turned out pretty good.

Yay for Izzy! I am glad he is taking off! I bet he is just lovin it! What does Ryan think of Izzy walking? Does he even care?...lol.

Poor Izzy having night terrors! I have heard of that before...that is sad! I hope he doesnt have any more! Thats scary!

He did jog everyday for a while, but then he stopped...now he is taking it back up.
His Bday is Aug. 24th...our anniversayr is the 16th and Luke's bday is Aug. 28th...so its a busy month for us!

Yeah they play current movies at the drive in...my cousin goes all the time...its only six dollars and they play three shows a night, if you show up for the first one then you can stay for all three....pretty good deal!

Wow that is a great deal! So it's $6 for an entire car full of people? You can't beat that at all. Sounds like a lot of fun. You shoudl definitely go. Maybe your mom can babysit and you and Norman can go on a date.
August sounds like a busy and expensive month for you guys. Kinda like May/June for us. At least you still have a month to prepare for it.
I've been playing yahoo games all afternoon long. I'm such a slacker. It's hard to work hard on Friday afternoons. Especially when half of the office is gone. I'm so ready for the weekend. I want to spend time with my kiddos.

Yeah August is hectic...plus I have to have all my school stuff, and have tests and then start fall semester Aug. 29th. Plus I have to get registration on the car....is that expensive up there? In CO I think they pay like $600 a year?...something like that...its only about $100 here...

Holy cow, $600 a year for registration? That's insane. That definitely reduces my want to ever move to Coloardo. Here it's only about $85/year. I couldn't imagine paying $600 a year. That's almost as much as insurance.
So how was your weekend? I hope you and Norman were able to have a little date night at the drive in. If you went what did you watch? I love your new pictures on flickr. That matrix one is really cool. You're very creative. How do you add those lines and stuff?
My weekend was good and busy. Friday night we went to Hastings and rented a couple movies. Actually we just rented one for us (Semi Pro) and a Doodlebops movie for Ryan. I couldn't even stay up to watch the movie because it was so stupid. Anthony liked it though. Saturday we took the boys to the mall for a pet fair. Ryan loved all the dogs. He kept going back to this little chihuahua/schnauzer mix. We MAY get him a dog in the coming years. LOL. Saturday night we went and barbecued with the neighbors and then yesterday we spent the afternoon at the pool for a friends birthday party. It was a great busy weekend.

Yeah thats what Norman's bff said his mom paid. IDK...that maybe exaggerated...or they pay something else with it maybe? When we thought about moving up there they pay was really good...but the cost of living was really high...so it kinda worked out the same.

My weekend was alright...I just did a lot of studying...we didnt get to go out. I went and took pictures of my Aunts crew yesterday afternoon. I have school today...I just got back from dropping the boys off with my mom and am getting ready.

I use a lot of different textures and stuff for those pictures...it helps that I am in a group that gives us a new theme everday...that day was Matrix...lol.

I couldnt make it through SemiPro either...but Norman did...lol.
Sounds like you guys had a good weekend! You should get Ryan a doggie! He would love it! Gabe LOVES Tate....he calls him Tatetot and sneaks food to him...this morning he grabbed my toast off the counter and gave it to him!!

I do have a lot to do this week...lots of studying and school..pictures to edit for my Aunt. She's paying me though so its worth it...I wish i could put up some of them because they turned out really well...but being that they are foster kids...I cant. I will put up some of my cousins on Flickr...after I get to go through them all!

Eh, my deadline is this week so I should be busy but so far I've been really lazy. I don't know why I don't want to work lately. I just feel so burnt out at work. I think it has a lot to do with the boys being at home with Anthony. It makes me feel like I'm missing out at home and I guess I kinda resent work. I don't know if that makes sense or not.
I think you're probably right about the cost or registration in Coloardo. That's where my little brother went to college and he never got his car registered there because of the cost. I never knew how much it was but he just always said is was super expensive. Crazy.
I bet those pics of the foster kids turned out great. I bet you could really be creative with them. You could probably use black/white and lots of texture to tell their story through their picture. I'm glad your aunt it paying you. You're officially a paid photographer.  
I won't be getting Ryan a doggie until he is old enough to take it for walks and clean up it's poop. LOL, just playing. It'd be great to have one and I know RYan would adore it but honestly I just don't have the patience to deal with one right now. Especially after seeing the pain in the ass Christy's dog gave her. No thank you!

Yeah the kids were great...she has the teen girls...except there are a few preteens but only if they have a bigger sister in foster care too. They are looking for a weekend person...my aunt is suppose to have her weekends off but they havent found anyone yet so she has had them for about a month straight...7 teen girls plus her two! Too many hormones under one roof!...lol

I wonder whatever happened to Christy's dog? Have you heard or seen her on here?

I have to go to lab...so I can practice putting on protective equipment and checking vitals...all that stuff.

Hey Ciara. How is your afternoon? I'm taking a break from the madness at work. I'm definitely busy today. LOL
Actually Anthony won't have to start back to work til the 2nd week in August. He's not coaching football this year. He's the head basketball coach but they do their summer program in June so that's already done with. He is still the Athletic Director though so he will still be working a lot in the fall. Even though he's not coaching he still has to go to all the football games.  
Dang I can't believe how many girls your aunt is taking care of. That's beyond crazy. When I see those numbers the first thing that comes to mind is, "damn, I bet she spends a lot of money on tampons." LOL That's crazy though. I bet there is always drama in that house. haha
I guess you're at school right now. Hopefully you'll return before I leave for the day. Okay, I'm headed back to the madness!

Thats great that Ant wont have to start back till then...save on a babysitter thats for sure. Sorry he will be so busy though...is he doing better about giving you time to yourself? Have you got to go to the gym any lately?

I know I cant believe how many girls she is taking care of either. Thats what I said about the tampons too!...lol They are really sweet girls. I got to talk to each of them one on one when I took them outside for individual pictures. At first some of them were pretty quiet, and one girl was really trying to be all tough. But then once I found a common subject to talk about they started talking and smiling...it was really nice.

School was pretty cool...I practiced all kinds of stuff...and got to know a few other girls. I think i am getting a little hyped back up for it. Thankfully!

Oh good I'm glad you're getting excited about school again! You're going to love it and you're going to do awesome. It sounds like it is going to be a fun semester learning all kinds of new things. Learning stuff liek nursing is probably interesting because chances are you'll use everything you learn at some point or another. It's not like you're learning stuff that doesn't matter in real life situations. kwim?
I definitely didn't get all my work done. Today is going to be a busy day again. I'm expecting to be busy until Friday when I reach my deadline. It's good though, it makes the day go by quicker.
Anthony has gotten a lot better about giving me time for myself lately. I haven't gone to the gym but that's mostly because I'm a lazy ass. But on the weekends he'll keep the boys while I go to Target or I'll go get my nails done. He's doing much better.  
That's really neat that you were able to get all those girls you took pictures of to open up to you. See you really are a natural when it comes to photography. You're not shy at all!   Seriously though, that's really cool in the short time you met with them that you were able to get them to trust you in even the littlest way. I'm sure it's hard for them to let anyone close to them.
