I love that you call your boys hoodlums. So do I! That and scrubs. I just got back from running a few errands at lunch. I had to go buy mother's day cards for my mom and ant's mom. I got me a sub from Subway on my way back to work and I'm eating it now. It's so delicious! I'm also drinking a nice cold root beer and it tastes great! I don't drink root beer very often but today it just sounded right.
I can't wait to see pics of you and Norman all dressed up. I bet Norman is proud of his sister. That's cool that she'll be able to continue working at the same hospital she does now. I think working in the ER would be pretty neat. You probalby see a lot of different things in there. I remember when I went into preterm labor I had to go to the ER and the nurse was really sweet.
You give a good perspective about that widow not having any kids. If she did it would make it seem so much easier to cope with. Like you said at least she'd have a piece of him remaining. Then at the same time if they had kids it would be so unfair for those children to have to grow up without there dad. There is just no good way to look at it. That's scary that the accident was caused by the weather. I'm glad you and Norman were able to drive through it okay.
Hey does Luke take a bottle or nurse only?
Have a good afternoon, evening, weekend, mother's day, etc!

Oh wow, so the ENT suggested the tubes? Well this may be the relief you've been looking for Christy. I know it's scary but remember it's for the best. I'm glad your parents made it there safely! Enjoy your time with them .

Ugh...I keep trying to reply in this thread but then something happens and I have to run off.
I totally forgot it was mothers day weekend.
Gosh...
Sue...a rootbeer is good from time to time...lol....you just have to be in the mood.
Your right about how unfair it would be to the kids if there were kids. Its just a hard situation.
The graduation was nice I'll post pics tomorrow.
Also...Luke takes both breast and bottle...He is starting to get a lot more bottle...I am working on the whole weaning thing.
Ok I have to get my butt in bed...night night
Christy everything will be fine with the tubes...hopefully they help him.

G-Morning Girls..
Christy thanks for the pic comments on myspace!...I swear I wasnt posing in that one....lol...
I am just getting ready for my nephews bday party.

Lol. I know I was just joking. You looked beautiful and I loved that dress. Where did you get it?
So Kaden is miserable today. I think I gave him my cold plus hes scratching again. He hasn't done that in soo long. He clawed his nose up really good. I gave him some benadryl like they told me to do but ugh I hate giving him stuff but he has to stop scratching. Today we are doing nothing but staying home. I don't feel good and I am pretty sure Kaden doesn't either.
What are you ladies up to?

Thanks! I got the dress at Ross...they had a bunch of cute little dresses.
I'm sorry Kaden doesnt feel good....I feel so bad for him, I know he's had it rough lately.
quoteposted 10th May
Im gonna have to go shopping at Ross. First I need to majorly hit the gym. I've been slacking but I am done with that.
Thanks. I know poor baby. The ENT said this will bring him back to normal. I can't wait. I want my happy giggling baby back. Its no fun him being sick. How are the boys?

Hey gurfreds! What's up? Are you girlies enjoying your weekend? I am so far. We were just lazy bums today and I enjoyed it! Tomorrow we have lots to do, our regular chores and then I also want to take my mom out to lunch or dinner.
Ciara I love the pictures you posted on myspace! I can't believe that dress was only $8. It's so cute. I wish we had a Ross in Roswell. There were always rumors that we're getting one but it never happens. Does Athens have a Ross or do you have to go into Dallas? How did the graduation go? I hope you guys had lots of fun. It looks like you did.
Christy I just read your thread about your fear of putting Kaden under. I know it's impossible not to worry but try to be reassured in the odds. He'll be fine! You are doing the best thing for him and you'll both appreciate it once it's done.

G'Morning Girls...and Happy Mothers Day!
Hope you guys are having a good one.
Glad your enjoying your weekend...that will be sweet to take your mom out, where are you going?
Thanks for your comments! I couldnt believe that dress either...I loved it. We have a Ross in Tyler, I usually just go shopping in Tyler since its closest. Graduation was good, and the boys and I had fun at my nephews party yesterday.
I dont really have plans for the day today...besides doing so cleaning, we may go to my brothers to jump again since they have it till tomorrow...lol.
Hope you all have a good one.

Happy Mother's Day! I hope you girls are getting spoiled today. I have been taken it easy. I didn't get any gifts but Anthony has been taking care of EVERYTHING today so I've just be relaxing with my feet up. That is a gift in itself. LOL. We all went to church this morning and then we went out to breakfast afterwards. The boys surprised us with how well they behaved.
Ciara I loved looking at the pics you posted from your nephew's party. It looks like the adults enjoyed it more then the kids! We rented a jolly jump for Ryan's birthday last year and I had fun jumping in it too. Anyhow, you look great in those pics. Your tummy is nice and flat. LOL. Your prego SIL is cute, she's all baby.
I'm so proud of Izzy. He has one of those walkers that you stand behind and push and he's been walking all around the house in it. Now I'm starting to think he may be walking before his birthday. We'll see!
Well have a great remainder of the weekend. Talk to you tonight or tomorrow AM.

Sounds awesome Sue! Glad your having a good one! I bet it is a nice break.
Yay for Izzy! I bet he is gone soon!
Thanks we did have fun for a little while, after almost everyone else left. Gabe was in it more than any of the other kids...and Luke loved it too...I may do something like that next year for Gabe's bday.
Well I am going to go...go crazy...
Apparently someone slipped up and forgot to send my kids the while "Mothers Day-be good" memo... ...lol
quoteposted 11th May
Aww Ciara sounds like your kiddos are giving you another run for your money. LOL. It wouldn't be Mother's Day any other way. I hope you had a good day anyways.
My day stayed great. For the first time in probably 11 months everyone took a nap at the same time. I think all 4 of us were asleep for at least an hour. It was so nice. When we woke up we met my mom for dinner then we came home and watched Desperate Housewives and the boys went to bed. Now I'm sitting here seeing if any of you girls are on.
What do you have planned tomorrow? Do you think you'll go to that funeral by yourself?
quoteposted 12th May
I'm glad you had such a good day Sue! Dont you just love naps!...Its great that you were all able to take one together...heck its hard enough to get the kids to take one at the same time sometimes!
And Desperate Housewives always makes my day...lol....If I was Lynette I would have socked that brat too....lol...
My day was alright...I think the terrible two s are in full force...and I have the stubornest kid in history...just an example....Yesterday morning Gabe was eating toast, well he just decided he was done with it and threw it across the room!! ....Then he refused to pick it up...I spanked his butt, he still wouldnt, I put him in time out he still wouldnt....finally after about 15mins of trying to make him pick it up...I told him fine time out in your room...started walking him that way...and he turned around picked it up and ran to the trash!...He is so stubborn....but not as stubborn as I am...lol
I'm not going to go to the funeral by myself. I have only met them once or twice....I would feel so out of place.
I think I am going to go pick up a sympathy card and mail it to her...everyone else has left her messages on myspace, but I dont know if she is going to get on for a while, and that just feels kinda weird...I think a card is a better idea....what do you think?
