Omg i Slept so Bad Last Night
posted 13th Dec
Aiight im 20 weeks 6 days and last nights sleep was the worst. I slept good for about an hour and then my legs started feeling like they were going numb and my hip started hurting me. I was sleeping on my side. They say at 5 mnths its not good to sleep on your back because you could stop the babys blood flow but that its ok to sleep on your stomach as long as you can. So i was trying not to be on my back and stay on my side. So after that first pain in my hip i turned over on to my next side and for about 30 mins i was ok until i felt my legs going numb againg and then my hip pain. Im not sure if it is for anyone else but its hard enough to turn over. So this happened every 30 mins the whole night an all i could do was keep switching sides. I got no sleep. Plus the craziness going on in my bell. It was so bad, the whole night i was tossing and turning. I got no sleep an on top of that my stomach was bothering me too, it was so uncomfortable. I tried leanin more on my stomach but i cant completely lay on my stomach anymore. Has anyone elese experienced this or having the same issue? Any suggestions? Im considering sleeping sitting up, lol.

im 34 weeks. an its bout the same thing it gets worse well for me it did i miss my sleep at 20 weeks . now its so much worse that tossing an turning your gonna keep doing it prolly for the rest of your pregnancy. i havent had a good night sleep in awhile . i take naps during the day just because i can keep up when i get all cramped an your prolly gonna start leg cramps those are the worse they wake you up . eat lots of bannas they help with the cramping in my legs alot. so i would start trying that .an use a body pillow or pillow of some kind for in beteween your legs that helps after you get comfy with it .
good luck to you. i know not much help but try different things to get use to sleeping on your side with a belly. lol

lol. I'm so sorry to be laughing but I DO know what you're going through..! I laugh because I KNOW what's going on!!! Annoying, isn't it? I don't sleep fully on my side or fully on my back. I sleep propped at an angle thanks to pillows. I sleep good and don't get numb. Try it. Make sure a pillow is in between your legs, too. That helps your body be aligned correctly. Better bloow flow that way, too.
