My Doctor is Playing With My Head! Ugh!

So im 20 weeks and 5 days and i've been waiting the last cou[le weeks to find out what im having. So i had a doctors appt. yesterday right and he keeps putting off my ultra sound. The last three visits he keep saying next visit, next visit. Stop getting me excited! Damn! I wana know so bad and every visit i tell everyone im finding out today and it doesnt happen! I still dont know yet. Am i rushing it? How far along where you when you found out???

i was 16 weeks exactly!

well i was almost 15 weeks... but im going back in jan to just make sure nothings shanged.... and u should just tell ur doctor to give you the order for the ultrasound and get it done somewhere else. thats what i did cuz my fiance had taken the day off to go see the u/s and the dr forgot to order it. so i took the order for it somewhere else and got my u/s the next day!

i was 17 weeks before i found out, I understand how anxious you are, I wanted to no as soon as I found out I was pregnant...

Thats sucks, I was 20 weeks when we found out what we were having. Your docs being a jerk.

they usually do a standard ultrasound at 20 weeks. Id be pissed if they made me wait! I found out with each of mine at 20 weeks.. this one I foundout at 16 weeks cause we were off a month by my due date.. that sucked but hey at least I found out!
I would tell your dr that you are concerned and would really like them to do the ultrasound immediately.   good luck!!

I didn't find out untill I was 21 weeks.

I was 19 1/2 weeks when we found out! I know doctors all work differently but my Dr. gave me the impression that they always do an ultrasound between 18-20 weeks. They told us it was the "big" ultrasound.

I found out at 22 weeks. They usually do a a development/gender determining ultrasound at 20-22 weeks, so I would say you should find out for sure next time!

They like to do it around 20wks. Thats when I got mine done with this one. With my first I got it done at 16wks.

i was 13 week when they did my first u/s and i am going back on 28dec to see what i am having...

I was a little overe 22 weeks when i found out,but that's just because i was out of town when my 20 week appointment would have been.

My first pregnancy I was around 24 weeks. It varies from dr. to dr. I found out when I was 18 weeks and had it reconfirmed at 27 weeks.

i was 21 weeks when i found out
