my daughter's nose is burning she says

okay so my almost 7 year old daughter has been complaining for two days now that her nose is burning. i havent called the doctor yet. i dont see what they would do and she cant miss any more school unless she HAS to. is there any reason to this that i should be looking into any medicines to help? she just says "its burning" thats all. i have asked her if she hit it on something or got hit or if she maybe was just picking it alot but so far i cant figure it out (yes i asked if she stuck something in there and she said no) idk what to tell her.

maybe allergies? I know when mine flair up I get a burny tingly feeling.

or maybe its just a head cold? If she has a stuffy nose maybe saline drops? Idk if that would hurt or help the nose burning part! I hope its nothing serious

maybe it's dry?

Sometimes I get a annoying burning sensation if it's dry...try steam or a humidifier  

its prob soo dry in the inside thats how mine gets and it burns when you breath threw your nose.. Try a humidifier  

Her nose might be dried out because the weather I dont know how it is there but here its cold one day hot the next and windy try squirting some lil noses saline in her nose it might help lubricate it

Mine gets like that when it's dry. You could try laying a warm wet cloth on her nose (like to breath in) and or some nose spray.

okay i will get her some saline nose spray i guess. i just wasnt sure what to do. shes always got somethign to "complain" about hahaha and i wasnt sure what to do with this one because i never have nose problems (jsut the occasional sneeze)

My 7 year old daughter had the same feeling. I tried the suggestion of the steam using a pot of hot water and a towel over her head and she said it worked right away. She feels much better now. :-}
