Not sure if it is "normal" to have migraines. Everyone is different.

It sucks that you're having such a horrible time already.

I would say that if you're having migraines constantly and/or lasting all day that you would need to speak to your doctor. In the mean time though I know it is safe to take tylenol while pregnant, so you could try a couple of those as the bottle recommends and see if that helps at all.

For the dizziness... Try staying hydrated. I know I've read several posts where women get dehydrated and feel all dizzy because of it. If it continues though and is out of control it could mean something more...such as anemia. So, definitely keep an eye out and call your doctor about it if it gets worse and doesn't seem to go away.

Good luck. I hope things start going better for you.

Well i hope so, I've JUST hit week 13 so i'm hoping the morning sickness gets better, I've found that I can again eat apples without nausea. . .but the dizziness is still off the wall, went to bed last night, and the whole room was spinning like crazy it was making me sick. Felt my eyes, swaying side to side. . .my husband just told me to close my eyes and take deep breaths. I'm not sure if it worked or if I was so exhausted I just passed out. I do thank you guys for ur replies though. Anything helps nowadays.

Could just be your body is so outta wack right now that its just trying to figure out what is going on, since ur not to far along. I had those and I would see spots every now and then. Found out I had pregnancy induced hypertension (high bp) they also said I had pre-eclampsia, but when they re-did the test my levels didn't go up. Your OBGYN will check over everything and make sure your not getting something like I had or start of something new. Good luck!

OK

I had the SAME THING, and YES it is NORMAL .
Not for all but for some.

Heres the deal. I had terrible MIGRANES from the time I was as far along as 12weeks until I was 20 weeks and now Im fine most of the time.
I was having MIGRANES that were so bad all I could do was lay on the couch and cry. Tylenol DID NOT help me and I couldnt take anything else . The headaches would last for days!!!! I was miserable EVERY DAY and at my job I stare at a computer all day which makes it WORSE.

Well, I called my doctor and told them and my BP was also low and I was starting to have blurry vision with my migranes. Well they called me in a presciption called Firocet or Butal(generic) it is a pain reliever with caffiene in it to make the pain reliever work...sounds weird but I took one and nothing....so she told me to take 2 when i got a head ache and IT WORKED GREAT !!!!
ALSO she told me to drink lots and lots of fluids like water, and juice.
And to drink it from a straw to reduce the brainfreeze triggering a migrane from cold drinks.

Ive been drinking more water, but mainly I ve been drinking the V8 Splash
Ill go through ....2 or 3 big ones a week. And it has worked great...I might have had 2 headaches since then and I am now almost 24 weeks so try that and talk to your doc. I never knew it until it happned to me but it really is very normal....your body is producing so many knew hormones that is triggers headaches more often and not staying hydrated makes it even worse.
