The kids & I are sick as hell!!
They didnt go to school, so earlier today while we were all napping (or suppose to) my boys decidedto open up all the christmas gifts!!!!!! I cried so much when I saw everything in their room. I cant believe it. Im still in schock & I dont think anyone understands the pain. Now, daddy wont let them play with the toys & he said he isnt going to give it to them. What a disaster!

Im sorry that happened
Take it all back and get them clothes
Thats what I'd do.
Well , with a select toy or so.

OH NO!! My daughters been snooping around looking for gifts all week. What are you gonna do? Re wrap them?
quoteposted 5th Dec '07
Oh my I would cry too. I'd just tell the kids no Santa Claus and no Christmas they ruined it and maybe hopefully they'll never do it again. Actually take that back. rewrap the presents put them under the tree and still celebrate the way you would but leave one toy from each child out, that's what I'd do. Good luck.

i did that one year. i agree with victoria. when they ask why santa didn't bring them anything say "Well santa did, but he dropped it off early to mom and dad. he said to wait for christmas before you could see them. but you where bad, and got into the presents so santa came and took them back. he said that next year you have to be good, or you won't get anything." or at leaast something like that. this way they 1 see that what they did was wrong, 2 see WHY it was wrong, and 3 don't try and push their luck any years after. they want the gifts they do, but no matter how couis they get, they won't do it again for fear santa will not bring them any toys.

I cant return anything. They opened up the boxes & everything. They left the toys to the bare minimum. They even left the barbies I had for my niece naked. lol. We might not give them any toys for christmas only clothes so they learn their lesson. We also took out their tv & toys from their room.I am just in wow right now.

Oh no, I wouldnt know what to do! I cant wait for christmas this year and I want EVERYTHING to be perfect! I hope it all turns out well for you! Take care hun...

I did the same thing when I was younger and my parents took all the things back. They got my brother and I clothes and other not as fun things. We did get a few toys....they were different then the ones we opened. Then to make it set in stone to not do it ever again my parents refused to let us but those initial tuys...even with our allowance. So basically because we snooped and opened those presents we NEVER got to have those gifts. It worked....I still don't snoop to this day.

Agh! When I was a kid I would sneak under the tree and untape the wrapping and peek hehe. Naughty!
Now I keep the kids presents very very well hidden.
quoteposted 5th Dec '07
I'll tell you one thing, I learned my lesson.
Next year, the gifts will be well hidden.
