Any February moms being induced?

Just wondering if any February moms were being induced and if you knew the date yet. I go in on Thursday and hopefully it will be discussed and decided!  

I am due on Feb. 22nd but they said if I went over they would induce on my husband's birthday (the 25th). What a crazy birthday gift!! Good luck at your appointment!

I'm due in january 27th (close enough, right? haha) and my doctor told me he was going to "shorten my sentance" and only let me go to around 38 weeks.

Well, I'll be having the baby before Febuary even though I am due Feb 19th.

I have no idea when though I hopefully find everything out tomorrow after I get my needles and ultrasound etc.

im due Feb 19th, but i dont think they are going to induce sooner, at least i dont think, they havent said anything. If she comes on the 19th it will be a birthday gift for my dad whos birthday is on the 18th of Feb, so weird!

I dont know if i am being induced yet i mean heck we still have some time to go yet. But i may have to shecdual a section if baby stays breech. So i guess we will see what comes out of my app on monday.

I don't know yet if I'm being induced....my first ultrasound showed that I was due Valetines day but the last ultrasound I had the measurements had my EDD as 1-31-08.....she weighs approximately 3.5 lbs now and if she gains the expected 1/2 lb each week from here on out....that's 5.5 lbs....that's a 9 lb baby.....so yes...hopefully I will be induced early... 

Wow, I didn't know they told you this early if they were going to induce you?
I guess I should ask, then. I know some people who were like, ten days overdue. But I thought they induced you within a couple days of your due date if you haven't delivered?

I dont know yet. It came up at one point since he's measuring big. With my daughter I was 13 days late, so the doc. probably wont let me go to far. Maybe I'll find out tomorrow?! 

If you get induced after your due date then yes it will be decided usually then- with my daughter I called 2 days after I was due and they told me to come in that day to be induced. I'm hoping I'll get induced at like 38 weeks because I've had fast labors (4 1/2 hours and 1 1/2 hours after my water broke- induced both times) and I live like 40 minutes away, about 15 of thatare backroads, which if it snows, and it probably will- that it could take me a long time to get there. Plus I REALLY want another epidural.. I mean he'll probably tell me no, I just have a feeling he's one that doesn't induce.. but I'll be so sad.. I have so many reasons why I need to be! Plus I like the knowing of when things will happen.. I don't think I could handle if it happened in the middle of this night.. I mean it'd be exciting and I do go back in forth on that, but with 2 kids 3 and under, it'd be more stressful.. plus like I said, NO ONE lives near us to take them. Anyone with me?

where do you live in mass?? i didnt know there was any town that was that far away from highways and hospitals?!

Dudley- it's right on the Connecticut border.. and I'm delivering in Worcester.. my last I had to deliver at MassGeneral, which was almost an hour and a half drive.. but at least I didn't have snow to worry about! haha.. and yes, Dudley is.. well.. I'd never heard of it until I moved there.. and I'm in the middle of nowhere in Dudley, so it's super fun!! not.. I want to move but my husband works in CT, so who knows.. someday

haha, awww that sucks. ive never heard of that town either. i'm having my baby at mass general, all my appointments are there too. i only live a few miles away from it though, cuz i live in boston... but with traffic, i could probably walk there faster than drive!!

Oh man I know.. and there's the constant construction.. it's awful.. who is your doctor? I had Dr. Barth, I loved him!

i have dr. baute. she's kinda ditzy, but nice enough. she looks like elliot from scrubs! Mass General kinda sucks cuz you just get whatever doctor is working L&D that nite to deliever your baby.
