Military families!!!

Since we've got a bazillion (or so) members who are military or have military family members, we've been trying to find a half-way solution to allow them to connect and discuss related issues until we've got the groups function installed.

so basically, this is the the spot for anyone to find other military family people, ask questions, discuss military specific issues, and so on.

YAY I have been waiting for this sticky!

Let me be the first to report some good news... well mostly good with some bad. Some of you probably remember me posting that they are sending Justin back to Iraq in March. And he was leaving us in January for training. Well last Monday I posted about him having a car wreck.

Turns out his back is really messed up and he is going to need 5-7 weeks of physical therapy. And since that therapy overlaps into the training period he has been released from active duty for medical reasons.

SO NO IRAQ FOR HIM COME MARCH!!!     

I am so happy about it, I could just scream it from the mountain tops! Although it sucks his brand new truck is ruined and his back is killing him.

I told him that EVERYTHING happens for a reason and apparently he just wasn't meant to go this deployment.

Aww I am happy no Iraq but boo to his back hurting and the truck being wrecked.

Ooooo... I want to post my excited news!!

David comes home for his R&R in less than 2 weeks! He'll finally get to meetour son! AND.... he'll actually be home for Christmas this year. We've been married for over a year and a half and have yet to spend a holiday together due to training and deployments. I'M SO EXCITED!

Yay! I'm so happy for you! I know your hubby has to be so thrilled/nervous/anxious/happy to get to meet his son. I can only imagine what the moment he sees him will be like.

I just wanted to add that they do offer 20% off OR you can get the CDwith your entire session on disc and a release so you can print them yourself at home or Walmart...etc etc!

Woo hoo! To add to the good news. My husband's deployment is over in 2 months!!!!
