re: Military families!!!

i have a question for you ladies...i'm 33 weeks now, my last appointment i was 32 weeks, my midwife at the end of my appointment said, "see you in 4 weeks" and i now realized that aren't we supposed to be going every 2 weeks when we are this far along?! i have talked to many ladies on this website and EVERYONE is going every 2 weeks, just wondering if it's just a military hospital thing or if i'm really not getting the care that i should be.

Maby she didnt realize/forgot that you are as far along as you are...you should have clairified it with her....

I was still seen every 4 weeks until 36 weeks..then it was every week

Out here it is every 3 weeks once you hit 30 and then every week once you hit 36. She must have forgotten. They see so many people at base hospitals. I would call.

That's awesome! I'm so glad you got to talk to him. There's nothing better than hearing your hubby's voice

When I was pregnant, I was seen at 12 weeks, 20 weeks, 26 weeks, 32 weeks, 36 weeks, 38 weeks and 39 weeks. This was on an air force base, don't think it would be different though.

I would just make an appointment for 2 weeks from now because 4 weeks sounds ridiculous! You'll be term by then and what's the reason of going 2 weeks after that? Just see if they'll make the appointment for you 2 weeks from now. Good luck hun!

Have any of you ladies been to Baby Boot Camp classes? me and my hubby have ours coming up and i was just wondering what to expect or what we will need.I dont know many military wifes and the ones i do know dont have kids and i live 35 minutes from base so i figured id ask you ladies

We aren't going to get to do the class b/c my hubs is gone! He wanted to so bad b/c a friend of ours did it and they liked it a lot! I don't know what it was like though, sorry! Oh, the one they did was Daddy Boot Camp! I don't know if these a difference!??

Blah, we just put in our 30 days notice to our landlord yesterday. Chris' terminal leave begins June 15, and he EAS's on July 6. Its bittersweet because this place grew on me. I have a bunch of good friends I'll be leaving. I think Beaufort has been the best experience out of my entire "military life."

Please keep us in your thoughts as we're having a DITY move....with 2 dogs and a4 month old. hahaha. Thank goodness for his friends--they'll probably be the ones helping Chris pack the truck since I have to watch the dogs and baby.

I'm starting to pack all the little stuff that we wont use now, along with all our winter clothes. I figure the more I pack early, the less stressed out I'll be when we actualy have to pack the truck. I havent done this in forever. I hate the actual packing/unpacking, but I love moving. haha.

Never heard of the boot camp classes..sounds fun...im gonna check it out in this area!!
