HotMama~ we are at Lejeune.....but we dont live on base..we live LITERALLY right next to the mall...I have heard BAD things about 29 Palms..LOL
Dont want to go there...looks like we will be going to Japan in the next two years..I am happy about that!!

Well...I am excited...I think. Lol. Hormones.  Everyone in the job my hubby has that just graduated all got based overseas...so I try to remain grateful to be stateside.

Hubby really wants to go to Germany and/or Japan one day. For now, he wants to remain fairly accessible to family to come see the baby when he is born.

Thats exactly why we passed up Japan this year...we had the chance to go at the end of this year..but I wanted to stay closer to our family....

Hey everyone! Just a vent / complaining, sorry!

I have been having the hardest night! I didn't get any sleep last night and had Dr apt. all day yesterday and it wore me out, it is now 0300 here and I for the life of me still can't sleep!  
I am getting really depressed! I really need and want my husband home!
This sucks so bad and I hate it!  

So since I missed it yesterday I had to say it today! Sorry its late!

I know how you feel. It is very hard and even more of a challenge when you are pregnant. I wish I had some great bit of wisdom or knowledge to share with you but I unfortunately do not. I can share what I did... I prayed a lot when my husband was gone - I prayed for peace in my own spirit. I talked about how I felt, good or bad. And, I did my best to push forward. It is OK to have sad moments just be real. Don't feel like you have to be tough for anyone. Put it out there so you aren't stuffing it and trying to do it alone. The hard times are always easier when you let people in. Hang in there and keep doing what you just did by writing that post. May God bless our brave men!!

I have heard only GOOD things about Japan. We are hoping to PCS there next year - fingers crossed!

Clear at the other end of the state near Sac at Travis AFB. We are enjoying it up here though. We are right between Sac and SF and only 20 mins from Napa. We have it easy this base. Much better then Minot ND or Los Angeles. Hubby has to be gone a lot but we have a great support group so it helps. 
How are you liking 29?
