Yeah I know what to expect, except my lfe is COMPLETELY different. When he deployed last time I was 19/20, I still acted ver much like your typical 19 year old. I partied, hung out all night w/ friends, went to concerts etc. I don't do any of those things now and I haven't for over a year. I'm a mom now and I just hate that to be daughter there will only be one parent around.... I HATE THE MILITARY!

she's decided not to telling the kids... she's just going to have him show up on the doorstep and surprise them.

it happens though. just think it'll go by much faster now cause we have kids our minds will be occupied with something else. i dunno what average is chic, i've been a mom since i was 18.

Good News Ladies! Scott got the all clear from the docs! He is coming home as planned!

Congrats to all the ladies who's husband (and brother) are coming home.

I have a question for all you ladies!

We have orders to move to Aaska a week and a half before I am due. Were trying to get them to give us 8 weeks extension since Im having a c-section(my Dr is writing the memo) and was wondering if anything similar has happened to any of you, and what the outcome was?

I am really nervous they wont give us the extension, and I am going to have the baby with no housing since we will have to clear a couple weeks before my hubbys supposed to report in Alaska, and no one to watch my daughter while Im having the baby.

I am an ARMY wife too!!My husband I areexpecitng our first child ( together, I have one from a previous relationship ) in May and wishtime wouldgo at top speed so we can meet the little suprise baby!

Thanks... but he called me last night to tell me one more doc has to give him the okay. He found out last night. What kinda crap is that??

Omg i have heard it a million times but i just really listened to the words and i am crying so hard. I am really scard about mat leaving. He is inf. and will be over there busting down doors and shooting people and having people shoot at him. I dont want to have to tell my daughter that her daddy is not here because of this stupid war. I try to be strong but i have finaly lost it. I am so scard. I dont want to be without him. I know i have to stay positive but its so hard. Knowing he will not be here for the birth of our little girl and that there is a chance she will never meet her daddy kills me. I dont want the kiss i gave him to be our last. Sorry i know this is dumb but i just needed to vent.

Im sorry! I know a lot of people tell you to be strong, but it's so hard! It was hard for me when my husband deployed, and it was hard for me to find the strength I needed to deal with him being deployed. Always know that other military wives are willing to be there for you, you need as much support as you can get to help you get through this!

Don't ever said its dumb. Its completely normal to feel that way. I am sorry that you are going to have to say goodbye. I know how scary it is. My hubby isn't infantry but he is currently the Colonels driver. We just had a scare a few days ago and now are waiting for the final okay from the doc for him to be coming home on R&R as scheduled.

I always say See ya later. I never say goodbye. Goodbye seems soo final to me and that would devistate me. If you ever need anything I am here. Best Wishes.
