Yup it is.. But my OB loves me, so she was MORE then happy to call them!! She was even nice enough to leave me one of the nicest c-section scars the nurses have ever seen.. lol

So my husband is in the AF and we just found out that we are pcsing to Elmendorf AFB in Alaska. Does anyone live there or know anything about that base/area?

Hey Everyone one I'm pretty new to this but I'm getting the hang of it. I'm a Marine Wife and we're no were close to the military life style right now. Hubby's attending Penn State for his BA and then going to then will go to OCS and become an Officer. I can't get use to the cillivian lifestyle. Neighbors keep to themselves, there's not a whole lot going on the in the community to get involved in and I'm use to being surrounded by military spouses!!!! I've been in Pennsylvia for 5 months now and I feel like I'm never going to get use to it. I'm a city girl and my husband has surrounded me by farms and the smell of cow poop! It's terrible but he loves it. I don't know how I'm going to last another 2 yrs here. I work full time so I really feel like I have no time for anything. On top of expecting baby #3. I'm glad I can at least talk to military wives on here. I can't wait to go back to Quantico and get back on base. I think that's where I really belong. lol

that is something that i had to get used to when i was younger after my dad was stationed somewhere that didn't have a base nearby. I would go outside and want to play with the kids and they would have know each other since birth so they weren't really looking to meet the "new" girl.

Oh wow! Luckaly everyone wanted to meet the new girl at school. It's a pretty small school so even the 5th grade teachers knew there was a "new girl" in class. I think that was the best part about moving during the school year. We moved this past April and she finished out her year in her current school. Now she's not the new girl anymore and she has friends in her class. I just wish we had kids around the house. We live on a 2 lane road so it's kinda busy. Her only friend around the house is our neighbors son and he's 12 (she's 6yr) so he puts up with her and my 2 yr old but they're more like younger sisters to him now. lol Hopefully, this year we'll make more girl friends in the area so she can visit with them at their house and vise versa!

i'm a newly wed, seperated from my hubby (we're both Air Force) and he's deployed.....needless to say we've had a busy past couple of months. He's gonna be gone for a minimum of 6 months. I'm not taking it all to well. I get to talk to him everynight but only for 4-5 min a night which isnt a lot of time to really talk. I miss my hubby like crazy and want him back home.....how did you girls survive ur first deployment with your hubbys?

Hi everyone im engaged to a marine and about to go through our first deployment together but his 3rd which relieves me since he's experienced in that department but he wont be able to be here for the birth of our daughter so ill be the crazy woman constantly recording everything and always taking pics anywhere i go. I would like to get to know some ladies here who are also dealing with deployment so feel free to message me or what not i could really use the company since most ppl here at home dont know what im goin through.
