Yeah I think it's actually like, chloroframs... Or some crap like that. But that's exactly what happened to his, except it's on the side. He can get away with it for awhile because it's covered by his trousers, but if he has a thorough inspection, he is screwed. So we gotta buy those soon, and I am thinking, man we could really spend that money on the baby stuff we need. Oh well, its life.

And as for the clothing allowance, I am wondering if my husband got his for this year. He was talking about how he was supposed to, but I don't recall seeing it in a check now. Hmm...

ETA: He doesn't have STAR card, he is so opposed to credit cards. But, I think we may have to look into it. Unless I get a job soon and we get more money coming in. He needs a new desert cover too and some other stuff I think.

ETA x2: It is coreframs, or something more like that sknymnie. My husband has a slight Georgia accent and a slight speech impediment from when he was tongue tied when he was little, so sometimes I have trouble deciphering what he is saying clearly.But I just asked him and I was hearing him wrong. Sorry.

Every Year on the month they enlist, is when they get their allowance.

Like we go ours this month, cause david enlisted in the month of Aug, so every year Aug, he will get it.

That's about what my hubby's cost too. CRAZY isn't it. And FYI I forgot to add this, although I think it's common opinion... The blueslook better than the old green Class A's. I think the blues look pretty sharp. I like the throwback to the old old old Cavalry type uniforms. With the yellow stripe on the leg and stuff.

Exactly. Im sooooooo excited to do the wedding in those colors. Everything will revolve around the uniform. The more I think about it the more excited I get. lol sorry.

That's the one thing that really makes me wish we'd had a big wedding. I would have incorporated the blues into it as well. But, that's life. Maybe someday we'll renew the vows and have a big to-do! I hope I get to see your wedding pics! I love military weddings!

lmao hehe. i think the guys are hot in their camis...i went and stayed with my best friend at bragg for a week and got to see her hubs in them everyday (i know that sounds horrible but whatever, all the guys are hot in them haha). i've never seen them in their blues in person though. but i think the camis are hot because it makes them look all...rough? i guess thats the best way to put it. like manly or something i dunno haha.
