I did the same thing! I would put the remote on my belly when Riley would start kicking, but once I started recording he stopped. He still gets camera shy! Lol!

That's what we had to do with my hubby's dress blues! He finally has all of it now. Except the gloves, which aren't very much. So that's no biggie.

And just to get it out there... Even though I have posted twice in a row now. My husband in his blues is amazing. Actually, I don't really care... Cammies, Alpahs, Bravos, Blues... It's all friggin' hott. I love my husband so much. hehe

I actually did know this, I promise. But I had to throw in my 2 cents since the other Marine wives did. ;) But, either way... Dress uniforms are ridiculously expensive and I totally relate to anyone who has to buy them piece by piece. My hubby went through boot when they weren't actually "ISSUING" them, for reasons I do not grasp. So we had to buy them. Bleh.

ETA: He just found a crack in his dress shoes also, so now we have to buy those! It never stops, I swear.

I heard that they'll be getting the blue ones soon. Thank goodness 'cuz I hate the ugly green one! Uck!

They sucky part is that Kevin just got his Class A's back in April. There goes money down the drain!

I guess just use the Military clothing allowance, and like you said buy a piece here and there.

my hubbys "core frams" (I think thats what he called them) got a crack clean across the toe area over the winter (he was/is Toys for Tots Cordinator for our area and had to wear his blues alot....), he was able to borrow some from another Marine, but eventually had to drop about $100-150 ona new pair....very expensive!!

Does he have a Military star card? maybe you gusy can put the new dress shoes on there, and pay it off slowy....that way it won't be such a big "chunk of change"
