i havebad news my husand gets deployed in june.

My husband's TDY again right now and just sent me a message telling me he hurt himself "really bad" and that he is under a profile. I was like "WELL WHAT DID YOU DO????"
I wish we had known about the photo discount when were on leave in october, our pictures cost us $100 at wally world...

Woo hoo for homecomings and R&R! All my buddies have been coming back the past few weeks, it's so great to see them all again! Things have been a lot better for the hubby now that all his friends are home too. He felt bad for having to leave them in Iraq, even though he had no say in it. Anyway, it's just awesome to have everyone home again!!

Adam deploys out to Iraq  in mid-late January for 4-6 months. He was supposed to go back to back but it was changed at the last minute and then he ended up oing TDY to Vegas for 6 weeks. He's home now for the time being.
I will come back stateside for a month while he's away so that Zakk can meet his G'mas and Gpa auntie and uncles =]

I kept wondering when this place would happen...

Anyway... we just got the rumor confirmed that my hubby's deployment is now longer this month, but he will not be deploying in more like March. It is still for 15 months which relaly sucks. At least he'll be around until Audri is almost 5 mo. old but it sucks because he will miss all the really fun milestones, like walking and whatnot.

same here. michael leaves in June, it'll be our first deployment. he's gonna miss another first birthday. he's only deploying for a year though.

Buffy - I'm sorry to hear about the deployment. I bet it will be nice to be back in the states again. You lucky goose!

I'm currently TDY in Korea so I couldn't bring Jake with me...   Ugh it's the worst feeling ever but I guess getting 2 1/2 days out of the way the first time is good because next week I'm going to the field at FREEZING Fuji for a week.   Days like this make me want to get out so bad. Anyhoo, hope all of you lovely ladies around the world are doing alright. All of the deployed family members are always in my thoughts and prayers.
