Eptopic pregnancy..

I went for the ultra sound last Friday they couldnt find anything so they did an internal ultra sound.. The woman told me i had to go to this emergancy ward because i may have an eptopic pregnancy, they did blood tests and told me if they dont do an operation i could die.

Needless to say im back out of hospital aching like mad with no baby.. and im devastated...

I heard that ectopic pregnancies HURT.....you didnt feel any pain before?

I am so sorry! My prayers and sympathy are with you. I have heard of eptopic pregnancy before and I know how dangerous it is. Unfortunatly, your baby wouldn't have been safe like that. I hope that you are doing okay.

Thats why i thought i had a miscarraige at 6 and a half weeks,

Because i started bleeding which you usually go with eptopic pregnancies but my baby continued to grow in their.

Ye i got realy bad back pain and i did tell my miswife but she said that it was completly normal

Im so sorry. The same thing happend to me but for me I lost so much blood that they had blood wating in case I needed it. The pain gets better. and if you were trying to get pg you wiil agian. I got pg 6 mos after mine. I hope you feel better soon. If you need to talk to someone who has gone thru it you can pm me.

I would def. be super pissed at my midwife.. if you went any longer w/o knowing it could do some serious damage to your body!!

I could of never been able to have kids,
I could of had to have a hysterecomy
Or i could of even bled to death

Do you think i could sue her?

I called her up when i got out of hospital and screamed at her but she hung up on me =l

Did they do and U/S when you thought you miscarried? b/c ususally they do to make sure everything is allright. I mean you could sue her if you wanted.. you can basically sue anybody for anything these days, but calling and screaming at her wont get you anywhere but a pissed off midwife who probably wont talk to you.. if you just call and talk to her in a calm manner and explain that you are upset that she didn't do anything when she should have and what not.. you can find out whyyyy she didn't do what she should have..

They didnt do a U/S i described the pain and shit and they said i miscarried

Untill i took 5 tests and they took a blood test and said 'ur pregnant' o.O

im really sorry to hear that...i cant even imagine how hard that must be to deal with...

That happened to my mom a few years back.
So sorry you had to go through this!
