I've been fighting a nasty cold now for over a week, I can barely sleep with all the drainage I've got going down the back of my throat and have lost my voice!! I'm 19 weeks now. What medicines have you all been told are safe?

I was told that Robitussin is Ok to use after the first trimester. That is what I have used through both my pregnancies. My first boy turned out just fine and I'm sure my second one will too. I would ask your OB, because I'm sure he/she is the one you trust the most, but Robitussin works wonders for me!

You can take Tylenol Cold or have your doc write you a script for antibiotics. Good luck.
