my daughter is only almost 11m old, and i know she's not a toddler yet, but she has this problem, when she gets angry and doesnt get her way, she will smack me and pull my hair, throw herself back, kick, scream, the whole shabang.. I have no idea where she picked this behavior up from. My Fiance and I do not physically abuse each other, we dont even play rough. I've heard all about this happening during the terrible 2s.. but she's not evenone yet! im a first time parent, and i have no idea if this is normal, if she's just figuring out that she can express herself, or what the deal is. But i dont want her to think this behavior is okay. ANY opinon will help! thanks so much!

My daughter used to do stuff like that. I think a lot of it had to do with frustration. She didn't know how to communicate well enough to let me know what she wanted and I wasn't guessing the right things. She would get very angry and strike out at me. Just be patient and put her in time out when she goes a little nuts. You don't want her to think that type of behavior is acceptable.
