my doc told me anything tylenol, including the day and night multi symptom cold. thats what i took last week, i mainly took it at night because for me, the night is always the worst, and the meds helped me sleep instead of having a snotty stuffy nose all night.

I would definitely call your OB's office and ask them what you can take. I have a list of stuff somewhere, but I can't seem to find it! Auggh!! I think there is something you can take for colds, like sudafed, but I would call them and ask.

My doctor told me I could take any Tylenol product, regular, cold and flu, night-time, etc.

Im sure there are plenty of OTC meds that are OK for pregos.. but I would just opt-out on the safe side and use natural remedies.. hot tea, steam baths.. CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP!

I just got over a HORRIABLE cold last week. My OB gave me a list of things at my first appt. and I ended up taking tylonal cold daytime and night time ... It was worse at night ... it didnt do much but made it bearable .. and then I had a appt. on Wed. and they gave me a prescription anti-biotic and it worked wonders!! So I would just say to call and ask your doctor. Hope you feel beter soon.

I was really wary of taking any kind of medication during my pregnancy. When I had a cold, I just used Vicks vapor rub, rested and drank lots of water.

Thanks everyone! I was told Tylenol products were fine. LOL the only thing is they are nowhere near as good as dayquil and nyquil. Oh well, anything is better than nothing right now. I have adr. appt Thursday I'm sure I'll be told the same thing..........Suffer. ha ha ha Only a month to go woo hoo!!!! sneeze----sniff (grin) Then my main complaint will be my tiredness.
