It totally is. It's like drinking dessert!   Thanks for suggesting it to me a while back Ba na na! I bought some chocolate this time as well, but I haven't tried it yet...I get nervous trying new things. I had to stoke myself up for the vanilla for like, 10 minutes, but once I tried it I was like "wow...I feel like this is a treat!" lol.

I get the Vanilla unsweetened flavor. You can look at all of the nutrition stuff here.

I drink the chocolate one, it's super yummy!

I plan to give Kaylah almond milk too and never cows or soy.

It doesn't have hormones and it's super healthy and it is the closest tasting to breast milk, which makes it easier for bf babies to transition to.

I have been giving my son almond milk for about a year now, the unsweetened variety, after I noticed that organic (and non-organic)n milk has so much sugar. After I switched him to almond milk (and decreased his sugar intake), his tantrums were reduced dramatically. One very important thing to note about almond milk, though: it does not contain protein. I add vanilla whey protein powder to his milk to ensure that he gets adequate protein. I also add liquid DHA once per day to ensure he's getting enough brain-building fats. Just an FYI...
Other than this, almond milk has MORE nutrients and calcium than regular milk...

My son had acid reflux as an infant and we have been on so many different formulas and he is on the smaller end at the 4th percentile ... He will be 1 in less then two days ... I recently started him on Almond Milk and he is doing wonderful!!! My boss who is a pharmacist actually suggested it to me and showed me some proven facts and my son loves it! ... It is not about the fat content that the child needs it is simply about calorie intake with children and it has the same calories as whole milk only it is lactose and soy free which is great! It aslo has Vitamin E which is an antioxidant and it has twice the calcium that whole milk does which is great too, and actually the stage two formulas have that twice as much calcium also only it taste horrible and like tin! In my opinion Almond Milk is a great find and I would recommend it to anyone with little ones over whole milk! .... I was recommended the Almond Milk Vanilla ... Kids dont take to the unsweetened well and the vanilla is great!
