well my mom and fiance think im carrying low and think and praying i have a boy.... BUT I WANNA GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! let me know what your predictions are mommas..

At 16 weeks baby is still really low because your uterus is still rather small...you can usually judge whether you're carrying high or low around 22-25 weeks.

i'm 27 weeks and i still don't know if I'm carrying high or low.

I carried REALLY low and I have a gorgeous little girl...so you have a chance anyway...and my SO's mom carried him high (like under her ribs...) and he is most def a male lmao.

The way you carry your baby has nothing to do with the gender of the child. It's just an old wives tale. However there is some truth to the heart rate and the gender.

120-140 = Boy
140-160 = Girl

I'm not sure how accurate it is. My daughter was usually in the 150 range so it was correct with her. And it has been correct with my friends. GL

My LO's heart rate has always been 135-140 and my OB and nurse both guessed boy based on that before i even had the ultrasound. I thought it was funny, but they're the experts.

I think its FAR FAR too early to tell how you are carrying your baby.. Sorry. :S

I've asked my doctor and the teacher's/doctors at the school I attend and they all say there the heart rate is usually right.

My doctor said that the other wives tales are myths, and so does the television version of "Pregnancy for Dummies"

Im going to guess its a boy.
