I think unannounced visits are great... but they arent always practical.  Since the parents are most likely working.  lol.  I love the times I show up unexpectedly (like to pick her up early) and see what else they are doing. But most people cant just leave work whenever to go pop in to daycare.

I couldn't./wouldn't do a center.. because I worked at that school, and there are two many people in and out with the kids, and so many people lie on the forms they fill out.. IDK I couldn't do either one
