re: Did you ever fear dying while giving birth?

i was never afraid i would die of pain but I the thought i could die during labor did go through my mind before I had each baby. It never helped that in the weeks before labor my husband always makes me update my living will and regular will etc. "Just to be prepared" or "just in case" as he puts it .....but its really a mean thing to do to a woman before she is about to give birth...puts scary thoughts in your mind. During labor and delivery the thought never really came into my mind though

I never had any fears of dieing during labor !! Thank god i was born in this day in age because if i hadn't i would have died. I had placenta Acrita with my first and lost half my blood and needed a blood transfusion . Thank god it didnt happen with my second.

Yes b/c before my husband and I got married he had these recurring dreams of me dying during childbirth and he would wake up crying. My friend told me that it could be he's afraid of being left alone.

No I didn't, but I ended almost dying anyways

nope i was more scared about the well-being of the baby more than anything...

Only when I had my c-sections. My vaginal births it didn't cross my mind

I myself am honestly scared to death of this... I think it is my main fear... My baby and I are both doing wonderfully right now during my pregnancy but that doesnt mean everything will go as well when the time comes...
