Ok..my labor story...

Hey everyone... ok i wrote on here the other day that I had Jacobi last Friday and that I would eventually get back on and tell my story and have pics. Pics are on my page in my albums. I am gonna have sooo many more soon! Neways... heres what happened on that wonderful day. - Well I was on here until like 4:00am .. bc im like a big night owl..lol neways.. and i was feeling allright... well i went to lay down in the bed and i started hurting soo bad! But it was sooo weird. It was like menstrual cramps and it was in my back! It didnt strike me really as like contractions.. bc i thought they would be so different than that. But newho.. i could barely move the pain was soo bad..i made my bf rub my back and like beat on the places that hurt. LOL Well they started getting reallllyy bad so i was like.. go get me some tylenol.. lol [oh it turns out tylenol doesnt help contractions HaHa] ok well of course that didnt work so i called my docs office and he wasnt there but one of the nurses that worked for him got on the phone and told me to go to the hospital asap. soo i did... and when i got there i was already 5cms. I was kinda proud of myself.. lol..i was like..damn ive made it this far and this good and im already 5cms. Little did i know how much more painful it could possibly get. Ha. The people kept askin me if i wanted an epidural... i said i wasnt closing my options but i was gonna TRY without one. Wasnt sure if i could take the pain or not.. but i did really want to without the epidural. They gave me an enema,blahh.. that was awful! LOL Neways the doc came in and broke my water and told me that the baby had a bowel movement in me. I freaked out! Well a little bit later after he broke my water they checked me and said i was only 6cms and wasnt dialating fast at all. Well it turns out they were wrong and i was really 9 1/2cms and that one nurse was nuts. Lol .. she obviously had really small fingers! But neways... they said i was supposedly "6cms" one minute and the next I was pushing! I never had the epidural.. im very proud of myself. Nothing against people that have had it or are gonna or anything.. its just that im kinda proud of myself for being able to take such pain and having the option of ending that pain and not..and just being able to take it.. iuno i cant explain it. BUT i did have some little drip drug in my IV. It was nothing really.. i still felt alll of the pain... only thing it did was make me kinda drowsy in between contractions but when one hit i still about died. LOL ...neways... pushing my child out was the most pain ive ever felt and probably one of the hardest things ive ever done or ever will do! BUT my GOD when I saw that beautiful 7lb 11oz 20in angel I could have melted into a thousand pieces. It was the most amazing feeling ive ever had and I would do it all over again just for him. I am sooo in love with him. I cant put him down! Haha [which probably wont be good here soon! LOL] Neways... gahh I love being a mommy. It really is the best gift in life. I thank God soo much. I am soo blessed. Welcome to the world Jacobi Adlen. Mommy loves you.  

Congratulations! I want to try to do the same thing as you and try not to get an epidural. He is beautiful!
