Newbie TTC...Venting all my worries/concerns/questions...
posted 21st Nov '07
Hi everyone,
I'm new to this website and have been reading some of the forums and really felt like you all might actually understand what it is that I am going through... I have two kids from a previous marriage and got married for the 2nd time this past March and my DH and I have been ttc since Feb and still no luck yet. I was Dx with PCOS a few months ago and was put on metformin to treat it but it doesn't seem to be working at least not in my opinion. I have very very irregular cycles and never really know when I'm going to get a visit from AF. AF visited in July and just recently my lmp was Oct. 15 and I took a test Nov 14 and again on the 19th and got BFN's on both. I really thought that I was going to get a BFP this month because tmi my BB's have been sore, I constantly have to pee, headaches, bloating, slight cramping, and extremely tired all the time and I still have all of them. Does anyone know what that could mean? Could I be pregnant even though the tests were BFN? Should I call and make an appointment to go and see my OB/GYN now? I'm suppose to call and make an appointment in the beginning of Dec to go and see him again. He wants to get more aggressive in trying to help me concieve. I am very worried about this all. I never had any trouble in the past with getting pregnant I wasn't even trying any of the times that I got pregnant and now that I want to have another baby and my DH and I are trying it just seems like nothing is going right now. Everyone in my family and everyone that I know keeps telling me to quit trying and to not think about it and that it will happen then. But how in the world do you stop trying and not think about something that you want so badly? Thanks for listening everyone...

There are tons of ladies on here with PCOS and many have found the right treatment for them and received their BFP's. There's a thread here that is something like "my PCOS sisters" with several ladies who understand your frustration. I don't know how you ladies with long cycles do it -- I would go insane. Keeping you in my prayers. Good luck!

Update AF has finally made another appearance after 45 days. Its the first time in a very long time that AF has shown twice in a row. AF use to be only 31 days apart but now AF seems to come whenever it wants too. Maybe the metformin is finally starting to work for me. I really really hope so. Hopefully we will get a BFP this time around. I'm prayin' and keepin' my fingers crossed that we have success this time. I wish everyone else lots of luck and lots of babydust to everyone. Take care everyone I hope you all get your BFP's very very soon!!!!
