I intend to let LO nurse when he asks to once the baby is born too, our LLL leader suggested it to curve jealousy--and so that he doesn't feel replaced.


I made the mistake when he was a baby of letting him nurse himself to sleep...and staying latched throughout the night-so when I first became pregnant I knew I had to wean him from that...that's the main reason I don't want him to get used to nursing during the night again. Old habits die hard, lol.

It would be amazing if he would transfer to a mattress. Maybe I'll try that a little after this baby comes. We have one of those bed side co-sleepers for this baby- and we intend to keep DS in the middle of DH and I all night, luckily we have a king size bed.

Thanks for sharing!   I feel a little better now. I know it will be what it will be, I'm just a little anxious, lol.

Hi there! My life is pretty insane... as I'm sure you all know lol My soon to be 3 year old(he turns 3 Friday eek!) is quite the handful lately. But, I love him, he's my handful. Thought I'd pop in and say hello..

We had a half-birthday (2.5) here.   on Aug 23
and our 5 year anniversary is Aug 26
which is tomorrow and we're moving tomorrow, to the house we bought last month!

We're down to just nursing before bed. She's doing it herself, I don't know if I'm running out of milk or if the taste has changed already but it makes me sad. It's the only time I can get snuggles.

if you do nurse all the way through, she will probably pick it up again (nurse more) when the baby comes.

I havent been on here in awhile. On the 11th itll make 4 months tandem nursing!

well we are at 4m tandem nursing now (as of Sept 7). I nursed them at the same time the other day and they got to watch each other for the first time. they thought that was kinda cool. I don't nurse them at the same time very often as I don't like the feeling and it also takes up both my hands .. I usually like to read while I'm nursing just one. but it made them both be quiet, so that worked. lol

We're still going at once or twice a day but I don't think she's getting anything anymore because it makes a squeaky sound when she sucks even though her latch is still good. We'll be at 23 months in a week!

I am breastfeeding my 15 month old and 8 weeks pregnant with number 4.
I was just curious if any of you noticed lack of breast changes when you were pregnant and breastfeeding compared to when you were just pregnant. I haven't noticed any changes really. My friend who is also pregnant, due around the same time as me is talking about how big her boobs have gotten and so on (she is not breastfeeding.) Just curious. I haven't noticed any change in size at all.

I haven't noticed any change in size but they do get very sore.
