Mucus plug (picture)

Last thursday I started to loose my mucus plug, and yesterday when my doctor checked me to see if I was dilated he said I had completly lost my mucus plug, an hour after I was at the hospital having contractions but I was sent home because I was only 3cm dilated and my contractions weren't strong. I haven't had any contractions ever since but when I went to the restroom I noticed this
Do I still have to wait for more mucus plug to come out before I go into labor?

I had my bloody show around 6 pm and was in active labor around 1 am. Labor is near!

Not exactly, You can lose your mucus plug and not go into labor until weeks later. Your bloody show is usually hours before labor or for some women they dont get it until they are actually in active labor. This is off of the top of my head, let me go google something.

I never lost my plug... or show. And I was in labor for a week. Lol.

lol I didn't lose mine until after 10 hours of cervidil right before they started pitocin. OUCH
