Quoting lolajessup:“ yup thats him.... but i never had that problem when i was babysitting. weird. thanks for warning me. ... [snip!] ... i will watch out for it. we've had it in our closet for 2 weeks now and it hasnt done anything, so we'll see what happenS!!!”

Oh I'm not saying don't get it! Its a really cute toy, and I'm sure its only some of them. I'm just highly entertained by the fact that a lot of the ladies in my other group were so anti-Learning Puppy lol. The stories were hilarious, but it definitely made me not want to risk it cause I would probably chunk the damn thing out the window.

I hope yours isn't possessed! I'm sure your baby will love it!

haha i can see how mommy chucking the puppy out the window could be traumatizing for a child!!!

We are getting preston a silver rattle from Tiffany and co. They are a lil expesive, but I think it's a cute gift. He'll only be 2 months old then so I can't get him much! I think the rattle is good because he can pass it down to his kid someday.

Hailey will be 6 months old at christmas

Fisher Price Jumperoo
Bright Starts Pink Gym
Convertible Car Seat
Bright Starts Pink Excersaucer
Rag Quilt (I'm making it)

A friend sent her a bunch of electronic type learning toys

Then she will be getting lots of gifts from family.. so her 1st christmas will be pretty good gift wise.

Thanks for the idea. I used to shop in the "special needs" catalogs for my students! They had the BEST toys and the quality always seemed so much better!

I forgot to put in my first post that I would HIGHLY reccomend the Fisher Price Classis Stacker (the one with the star up top). My cousin handed this toy down to me for my daughter and she has loved it since about 2 months old. At that age she obviously didn't play with it but sheloved to watch the lights on it!!! (she's obsessed with lights) Nowshe'salmost 5 months and she likes to "try" and play with it lol. The lights and sounds are great and really catch the attention of babies and instead of plain rings to stack it is textured stars.I think it would probably begood for any baby and of course its a classic. I am not sure what to buy?? Especially with all the recalls lately I am afraid to buy anything made in China and practically everything is made in China!!

I will probably buy Aryan a excersaucer or something around those lines cause it ws so handy when Sydney was a baby.

I got my son the Ocean wonders play mat, that has 3 different stages, as he grows...
I figured this way, he can play with it all year, and its not a waste of a toy or anything!
Seeing as hes just under a month old, I didnt know what else to get, but it works for me!!!
Im sure he will be getting lots more things from his grandparents, but I dont know what!
