Well, if you are sitting on the toilet, the cup is in the upright position...Basically just sit like you would with a tampon and pull straight down on the stem of the cup. You will sometimes feel the cup squeeze in and feel resistance, cause of the suction, but keep pulling intil its out...

The cheapest I've found was $23.... I want one, in a BAD way! but my husband is skeptical, he thinks I'm going to spill blood everywhere trying to take it out...

He just doesn't want to spend the money & then have me not like it.... it happens a lot...  
I'm getting one, either way! lol! he just didn't see how it would be cleaner.... I like the idea of being more "green" though!!

3. How big is the Diva Cup?
Here is a visual for you. The DivaCup is all the way to the left, the Instead cup is in the middle and all the way to the right is a standard deck of cards.

How exactly do you remove it??

Question.... How much is too much? I'm completely filling my diva cup every 3 hours.

Can you use the diva cup with an IUD? Someone said something about it maybe tugging the strings to your IUD and moving it?

Also, I've read a lot of reviews on amazon & drugstore.com of people saying they couldn't get it back out after they used it. Has anyone else had that problem?

Can I use this for PP bleeding? I'm currently pregnant right now and I would like to switch to cloth pads and the DC after the baby. I told my DF about it and he thinks it's gross when he asked me how do I get rid of the blood and clean it... lol I don't care. I found them at a store near me where I also purchase my baby's cloth diapers so I'm happy about that.

THANK YOU FOR THIS! I used an Instead Soft cup today and it hurts..I can't seem to get it right so it doesn't hurt. It just feels so effin wide, it's killing me.

The Diva cup is smaller (and your picture shows this well) and I know it'll fit better. I'm going to buy one.
