PUPPS =(

does anyone else have this? or had..?
i went last week and the doctor told me i probably had an allergic reaction to something i ate... today a different doctor told me i had pupps and it doesn't go away until after my baby is born... so the good news is i only have 2 weeks left... the bad news- i have a baby shower this weekend and i can't wear what i wanted to wear =/ grrrrrr its so annoying.. anyway, the doctor prescribed me benedryll... WTF IS THAT GUNNAA DO TO ME!?!? lol... just make me sleepy.... i don't even want to take it but my dad already payed for it.... so i guess..... so can anyone that had it or have it tell me ifi canput something to make it lookbetter even if it doesn;t go away?????

I don't know of anything that will make it look better, but to help with the itching, you can take an oatmeal bath, and put aloe vera gel on your skin after a shower. Sorry, you'll probably have to live with the rash till the baby comes.  

yea i heard about the oatmeal bath... and i do put aloe vera gel =D it feels so good after a cold shower.... lol...o0oh well i tried =/

Hehe I feel dumb. I have never heard of "pupps" before so when I read the topic I thought it was going to be a thread about puppies lol I feel dumb

Hi i have PUPPS and it has gotten so bad that they are inducing me because i have litterally started tearing at my skin and sometimes bleeding. The oatmeal Aveeno bath worked for like 3 days and then stopped but taking benedryl the pill form really does work. It made the bumps flat so now im just red and ive been able to sleep and not rip at myself. If the doctor told you to take it, its okay. I take it every 4- 5 hrs and it works great but you will sleep a lot. good luck to anyone that has this

Gahhhhh! PUPPPs are the debul. I got them at 32 weeks and for me, it started between my fingers and toes. I thought I had poison ivy. The doctors were say that I had an allergic reaction to the male fetal DNA.
The only thing that helped my PUPPPs was emu oil. You can get it from Whole Foods. I also used Aquatanic gel and took cooler showers. I was absolutely miserable but it did go away after birth. You can take Benadryl to help to sleep better but it rarely does anything for the itching.
