no heartbeat

I had my docs app on thursday and there was no heartbeat. I had had a bloodtest on tues and those resukts showed it should have definately been there by then. I have another appointment with my doc next thurs (he has gotten me to get 2 more bloodtests so he can see the hcg levels going down) but what happens after a miscarraige? i've only had a little spotting? do they need to do a curette or something or they just let nature take its course?

with my second pregnancy they discovered that there wasnt a heartbeat when i went in at 9 weeks and the baby measured to only be 6 weeks... i had a D&C because my body wasnt releasing the baby. They put me under, dilated me and cleared out my uterus... it was pretty pain free but emotionally difficult.

Youre due date only puts you at 4 weeks..Why are they looking for a hb now?

They didn't do an ultrasound to verify there is no heartbeat? When they found mine without a heartbeat at 8 weeks 5 days I had a d&c that night. He did say I could m/c naturally, but it would be incredibly painful and not recommended. When I m/c'd at 4 weeks, he let me m/c naturally.

it seems like you shouldnt be worried about a HB yet... I was due April 25 last year and had just gotten my BFP on Aug 16, so your only what 5 weeks or so right now?? I would wait it out a few weeks, in the beginning things can be way off and people have been known to just be a bit behind what was thought and they now have a healthy bean

And just sayin....At 5 weeks, we saw nothing on the u/s

the date is wrong i thought my last period was 19th of july but it was an implantation bleed

my levels were 18 000-20 000
