So far, it's easiest to read the text if it's bold and very light colors. Staying away from green, gray, red and pink

If you are a beta tester, you go to 'edit profile' go to the 'about me' tab, down at the bottom there are little squares with backgrounds, and then a white box with 'customize your own' [something along those lines] click on that box, and use the URL from the background you are looking to use. Click upload, and save.
