Is it wrong to pack so early?

I'm only 12 weeks and I'm already starting to pack a bag for the hospital for when I go into labor. My mom says I need to just wait, but I can't help packing. I just want everything to be perfect for when I do go into labor. Should I wait or is it okay that I'm packing now?

Umm.. Yeah it is really really early. I did not have my bag fully packed until the night before.. I guess it is good to get an early start but you might want to wait a few more weeks.

I dont think its too early! I think that things like that are never too early! You might wanna hold off on packing the diaper bag lol, you might want to find out the babys sex first lol. Im packing probably once i hit 20 weeks becasue Im high risk and i dont know whats going to happen this time around lol!

That's what people say, but I just am nervous so I want everything to be perfect. I probably should wait a little while.

It's not to early haha you are just ready. I understand at only 13 weeks I started my gift registries so I know about wanting to have things planned and under control. Why not pack it now so when the day comes that bag is ready to go.

it is early but thats probably nothing more then excitement, for example my sister did her registry at 4 months before she knew what she was having then had to go back and fix it when she found out for sure what she was having. Trust me you will repack that bag so many times before you go to the hospital. I am a planner so its hard not to do everything early, but I am trying not to, my family is part native american we a re very suspicious and dont want to send a bad omen towards the pregnancy by doing too much early. It's hard though at 22 weeks I am ready to get the baby room together.

I don't think its too early. You will probably go through it about every week and redo it anyway. I think your anticipation is getting to you. I would suggest trying to focus on something else until you are a little farther along. It will also help to ease your mind.
