2MoRrOwS ThE DaY!! aNy AdViCe PlEaSe!

2morrow night @ 10pm im gonna start gettin induced. ill b 41 weeks and 4 days. i havent had any contractions what-so-ever. and im not even dilated but my doc said my cervix is soft. they said they have 2 put something any me 2 help me open. then something else in my iv. im so nervous. i dont know what 2 expect. people say when u get induced its much worse. and im sooo scared. i know as soon as i walk into the hospital im gonna start crying. so does anyone have any advice. or just wanna give me a heads up and what 2 expect. please someone....

Dont worry youll be fine I have been indused 2 time and lets just face it labor hurts!! LOL Im betting once your there you will feel at ease. I was indused with my last child on Jan 20 and her bday is today shes 4! GOOD LUCK and dont be scared!! Let us know how it goes and post pics!!

Ive been induced twice, it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. If you are getting the gel inserted into your vaginal area to soften the cervix, that isnt going to hurt at all. Now the pitocin they put through the iv might make your contractions closer together and more intense. So if you are considering an epidural or know that you want one, make sure they know that when you get there, that way you wont have to wait long for them to get in there and give you one. You will be fine   Let us know how it goes!! How exciting!!

it wasnt bad getting an epidural either, the worst part was the lidocaine they give you to numb the area before they put it in, and sitting still, that was it. I napped after they gave me the epidural lol.

thats what alota people tell me.. i hope mine goes that good... i just 2 pray it doesnt turn into a c-section cuz im not dilated and no contractions. my mom was the same way with both me and my sister and she had 2 c-sections. i really dont want 1 =(

as soon as you said you thought you would cry once you walked into the hospital... I started to cry! I know how your feeling, your anxious to for the baby, but your scared of not knowing what to expect. I would much rather the doctor tell me my chance of ending up with a c-section and just get it over with. I dont want to go through 20hours of labor just to end up having a c-section!

I think you and I are in the same situation. I was due on the 15, i go for another appointment on Tuesday and they will schedule me to be induced. I havent felt any contractions either and im only 1cm dialated.

Good luck..... Just try and relax as best you can for now and then when you get there you wont panic. remember its your body and your baby so dont let them do something you dont want or need, I hope all goes well for you!  

I was induced with my first...It wasnt nothing i got the epidural when i was 5cm and i still didnt feel any contractions...The dr came in and checked me himself than he said u are at 5cm and do u want the epidural i was like no not right now i dont feel any pain all it was tighten up than after he checked me i had worse pain in my back ever back labor...
But they were going to break my water than i got the epidural was the part i was scared about i was afraid i would move and have my back all messed up after that but it was a peice of cake...I was soo nervous and scared when i arrived at the hospital i was scared outta my mind...But than it was fine i was talkin to the nurses every thing
