i'll review the evidence in here or elsewhere, but it's better to keep it in the public eye and let others weigh in.

Also- if it comes down to it and a scammer needs banning I will compile all of the evidence and story for you as well to make it easier for you. That might be better than you sifting through countless pages in the buyers beware thread lol

i'm thinking that once they've been qualified as a scammer, it could be reported in here.

buyer's beware is HUGE and not entirely reliable as sometimes things are still in the process of being resolved, eh?

That sounds like a great idea. So once everything is sifted through BB and its pretty plain and simple that someone is scamming, have the buyer report them in here as well and it can be taken from there?

this is if someone is intentionally scamming people, wont respond to buyers, wont resolve the issue,etc.

Not for someone who quickly resolves the issue or misunderstandings.

ok so, id like to know what legal rights i have if i get ripped off?
i know its up to me or not whether i buy from a member, but with the exchange rate and cost of shipping and all that crap buying makes things very expensive for me .
theres a few things i'd like to purchase from members. these particular members that have been referred to me have flawless selling history, so im not pointing out anyone in particular if ive talked to you about buying something >.<

but legally, do i have any rights that guarantee me getting my money back if i get ripped off? am i protected by some kind of US consumers guarantees act? im just askin because most buyers here are safe under this law. is there an american one too?

you don't really have much of anything b/c you're from another country.

in other words, it'd be hard to enforce a law in america-- which would be more up to the payment method than anything else, b/c you're in new zealand.

the internet is also just the place for shady dealings in general, so... it's best to really exercise caution on every level when it comes to using your money on here.
